Very very cool. I was a pretty big fan of them and the Breeders who opened up for them. Kids today, especially the Emo and Hipsters, dont have a clue what Nirvana did in order to make thier music possible. I work with a guy who saw Nirvana open up for a band at the 930 club in DC during their Bleach tour I believe before Grohl was on drums. He was there to see the other band. Thats pretty tight. |

Strokes have fallen imo. Thier first two albums were solid and really enjoyed the second. But first impressions of earth was disappointing and the new one is ehhh. I really hope they move from the "electronic" sound, doesnt work for them. Matty if you like the Black Keys, I highley recommend the early stuff. I got hooked after hearing the "Thickfreakness" album. Rubber Factory is my favorite album by them, Magic Potion is a good album as well. Check it out, more of a raw blues sound. |
Re: What song are you listening to right now?
I'm not a huge fan of The Strokes overall, that song though sticks in my head for days on end.
I've just been getting into the Keys. I'll check out that early stuff. |

Hell yeah party music to the Hurricane |
Re: What song are you listening to right now?
I've got a Pandora mix going right now: The White Stripes, Modest Mouse, The Black Keys, Pixies, and Arcade Fire. For the most part it's been pretty good, but I can't skip anymore songs for a little while.
Stupid Pandora rules. |

I think that's a great "workout playlist" song. Rob Zombie's got some good other stuff I put on that playlist as well. As for right now, I have the opening song from Louis C.K.'s "Louie" stuck in my head lol. That show is completely underrated, and so is that song. |
