Actually close to 50% of NFL fans are women (I think it's like 46%) according to Neilsen and the NFL.

I'd post a link if I could find one. I just remember discussing it at work a few months ago
Not a chance that is true......

Dude, you really need to drop the idea that women know nothing about football, nor do that enjoy watching it. It's the biggest most popular sport in the US...

One word - ignorance.

Re: Here comes Sally

Read the links I posted above, it's pretty obvious that women make up a significant portion of the NFL fan base. The NFL has also turned up their marketing efforts towards women which is indicative of a lucrative, previously untapped market.

Wake up guys, this isn't the stone age. Women are big sports fans, and they are definitely big NFL fans.

Strange. Aboutwomen.com says that women make up 40% of NFL fans currently. I bet they also say that god is a female.

Then the NFL comes out with a new marketing strategy to try and attract more women to the game.

Look out boys!! THE NFL WANTS AN ALL WOMEN FAN BASE....LOL!!

More b.s. politically correct filler articles that have no backbone in my view.

I'm all in favor of the NFL and whoever wants to be a fan is fine with me. Unfortunately I'm a realist.

Whatever, you still haven't named one single woman starting at quarterback in the NFL.

I haven't seen you post any sources to the contrary, so until you can back up your misguided, machismo views I'll just brush off your ignorance and hope that someday you can see just how wrong you are.

I don't understand how that comment fits into the discussion at hand. We are not talking about women playing or coaching in the NFL. We are talking about the ability of women to appreciate, understand and analyze the game of football just as men do. Try to keep up.

Sarcasm my friend. That was Jdaly's argument originally. I was mocking it. Try to keep up.
