Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
Who is Brian Mitchell? Not like he's Barry Sanders or somebody important! As a sports analyst he should focus on special teams play ~ his specialty!!

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
F*** Brian Mitchell and the John Thompson show. "Bitch Mitchell" is a self-righteous, flip-floppin' clown. I could care less that the guy is second in all time all purpose yards...he acts like he never got tired or winded. The fact is if every redskin played like Clinton Portis noone would beat us. I've seen him LEVEL guys like Shawne Merriman and Mathias Kiwanuka. As far as I'm concerned If your line is playing like a bunch of potato sacks, call them out!! (See Peyton Manning.) His comments last week clearly inspired these guys. However I am under the impression that it was taken out of context and he was more or less referring to our offensive scheme in recent years as opposed to the play of his teammates.
Im with you, Mitch the bitch has come after portis since he landed in washington..i don tknow if its jealousy, or if it is residual resentment of when we cut him, who knows? The point is i think portis is tired of running into 8 in the box time after time and the way he is utilized. I dare ANYBODY to sad that he doesnt play with his heart week and week out. That he more so that anyone else gives 110% on the field. Mitch the bitch needs to chill |
Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
To be honest I can't stand the Thompson show. The coach always sounds like he's on anti-depressants and talks slow. B Mitch has nothing nice to say about the Skins. The two times I did listen he seemed to act like he never played the game. Questions about the team not getting something done when honestly because he was a player I would expect him to be able to answer why they didn't. For the life of me I can't figure out why he's on the show? The coach brings more to the table about the Skins then B Mitch does and the coach was a basketball coach. Now why is that?
I know that if you all would stop listening to the show it's ratings would go down and it will get pulled like Riggo did who's show I liked better then the Thompson show. Why on earth pull Riggo for this shit? Pardon me. |
Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
I get how CP is. And I understand that it was taken a little out of context, and I think BMitch runs his mouth too much. But if CP thinks that there are no running lanes because teams don't respect the passing game then fine. I actually agree with him. But don't throw your QB and wr's under the bus to the media. Keep that crap in house.
I think it was a good thing. You have to call people out so that they will step up. And I think he was taking Zorn's lead. A spade is a spade.. so say so. I have no problem with what he said. |
Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
You know, if Portis really wanted to get to B-Mitch he could ask him if he knows so damn much, and he was so good, why did'nt he start at running back, instead of just filling in and returning punts. I think all Portis wants him to do is stop talking crap about him when he does'nt know all the facts. BM acts like the more he knows you, the more he's going to get on you , like some kind of tough love. The problem is, he's not CP's coach, and I for one could'nt care less what he thinks of CP. He acts like when he puts down the team he's "just being honest". Well you can say some good things about the team that are just as honest. Personally I'm just tired of hearing his negativity all the time. I don't think CP cares what BM thinks either. He's just afraid that we might believe him.

I just think its great he's being referred to as BM

Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
What? So, BM never called out CP before that? Whatever. CP is sick of hearing BM disrespect him on the radio, so he called up to let everyone know how he feels.
I think you are confused about what BM's job is. His job is to comment on the good and bad he sees from the Skins and its players. He says good things about CP and bad things about CP's play but CP chooses to get stuck on the bad. I dont have a problem with CP asking BM what's going on but he wouldnt shut up for a minute to let BM answer. It sure did make for entertaining radio. If anyone called people out it was CP calling out his line and throwing them under the bus. Luckily for everyone CP's lineman have enough class to know when to keep their mouth shut. |

Yeah, I'm confused about his job... His job is to give his opinion. So that means, even if his opinion is insulting, he's free of all criticism? If that's his stance then he's a pussy. "Hey, don't get mad at me for dissing you, it's my job." LOL. You act like CP has no right to defend himself. |
Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
The only reason this matters to me is that Portis' off-the-field antics in the media are starting to become a weekly deal. Last week, he made comments thats he shouldn't have about the offense around him, and now he's chewing out Brian Mitchell on live radio.
Both of those events are no big deal independent of one another, but it's starting to add up for him. I think he would be wise to stay out of the media next week. |

Also in an interview I heard yesterday he still wouldnt let the whole B Mitch thing go. It was amazing how once again he droned on about this stuff. maybe he's under some kind of external stress thats making him act this way but at some point somebody in the Skins organization is going to have to pull him aside and tell him to cool it. |
Re: Portis calling out B-mitch on the air
I just heard on Sportscenter. And of course they played the part where clinton says you can kiss my ass. Media blows everything out of proportion.
I'm glad Portis said somethig about this because B mitch has been talking about Portis for some time.
Contrary to the opinions of most on this thread I think this is B.S.!!! Portis needs to focus on his play and let his play talk for him...He has not won anything here...so he needs to step up his efforts not his talk back game. Tom Brady doesn't get this questioning on the radio cause he has earned his stripes... I wanted to see Portis this animated in the offseason and in the preseason. Portis is one of my favorite Skins but I think there is something to this effort thing... You want recognition but not the work it takes to get you and the team there. Were is all the talk about the Cardinals this week. We havent won anything more than 1 game...string a couple of weeks together with these stats and nobody will question anything. I don' t listen to the radio on the internet too often being that I live in Tennessee but I heard this b***h fight live, but B-Mitch tells it like it is...I at least have no reason to not believe him...He has won a ring. What have we won since CP got here. That said I think we can win here. So just Shut up and play your ass off and take your lumps and stop trying to get the spotlight... |

B-Mitch is negative when he needs to be and positive when he needs to be. Unfortunately CP and a lot of fans only want to focus on B-Mitch being negative because I think in some strange way they think it shifts blame off those really at fault, the players and coaches and on to the media. If you think this is blown up too much, just think about what media & fans would be saying about CP and his comments had he played bad and the Skins lost to NO. It would be totally out of control. He's making the spotlight on him even stronger with all his talking, if he plays bad or the Skins lose this week the media and fans will be on him even more. This thing isnt over yet and I get the feeling when it does end it willl be ugly. |
