That was a good movie. I was thinking about it days after I saw it....the mark of a good movie. And a great soundtrack too by Eddie Vedder.

We rec'd Marley and Me today from Blockbuster. I'm not going to cry...not going to do it.

Oh man...forgot about that. I can watch all sorts of grusome things on TV, nothing makes me flinch...but I HAD to turn away when that happened. It haunted my dreams after I watched it, now it's going to again. It made me like the movie less and I never watched it again, just like I'll NEVER watch Marley and Me again.

Yep great soundtrack. I'm seeing him live on 6/8. I'm sure he'll play a lot of those songs.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks (if not months) afterward. And each time I thought about it my reaction to the movie was more intense. The way it end just haunts you, probably the most powerful ending to a movie ever (near the top is The Ice Storm)

Well, the writers definitely did a good job making it memorable. Certainly a powerful movie.
I don't think I ever saw The Ice Storm. Who is in that? (don't tell me the ending just in case...cause i might want to see it now)

The writers did do a good job, but of course they had real-life material to work with.

The Ice Storm is an Ang Lee film starring Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Allen, Cris Cooper, Elijah Wood, Cristina Ricci, Tobey Maguire, and Katie Holmes.

The Ice Storm is a great film, but I couldn't have shed a tear for any of those characters. They were all so smug. I felt relieved for the kid that he didn't have to be around them anymore.

Well at the risk of further giving it away, I wouldn't say the ending makes you cry it's more like "I can't believe it ends like that" I kept thinking there must be another scene coming up

I would be amazed if many people make it through M & M without crying. I saw it in the theatres and I mean the sniffles and tears were loud and long. (including mine as noted before)

Can't say I cried any tears during that movie, but only because I have read the book roughly ten times (literally), and, as is so frequently the case with a book you really love, a movie based on it doesn't quite measure up.

I cried out in pain when I was forced to watch twilight. That was abysmal.
