OK had a pretty good OL. Lot's of completions within 5 yds of LoS, missed at least two deep passes that should've been completed, forced INT late in the 1st half inside the 10. Forced another pass from under center into coverage in 2nd half for an INT.

The guy isn't garbage, but he isn't a franchise QB IMO. Can he be solid at the next level, possibly in the right situation. But I don't waste the #4 overall pick on him.
I'm impressed with Bradford's accuracy as well as his quick release. Both are real positives.

But otherwise, I'm not sure I would draft him at #4, either.
Question: whats LoS? Also after seeing Kurt Warner last night, this guy actually reminds me a lot of Kurt. Not the worlds strongest arm, but accurate, makes good decisions, isn't a runner, attacks the blitz, stays cool and calm throughout the game.
I think there are some similarities, both thrive in a spread style offense, both need a strong supporting cast, both are accurate, both cost their teams championships by poor throws inside the 10 in 2009 (a big portion of that issue I blame on both their Off Coords).

The thing with Warner is IMO, coming from the AFL (even though the talent level is nowhere near NFL caliber) because of the small field he needed to fit the ball into much tighter windows. I think this was key in his development into a very accurate passer in the NFL. He was also older when he came into the NFL, hence more mature.

Will Bradford make the transition? He has a good chance in the right system with a solid supporting cast. His best bet would be to slide down in the draft to a team like Arizona who has the rest of the pieces in place but has an aging QB and runs a wide open offense, maybe the Pats. I don't think he'll be a good fit here in the WCO, where there will be an emphasis on the run and play-action. We also have some holes to fill that may take a couple of years, he'll either sit and wait or possibly have his development damaged by a lesser OL than he's used to.

Since some people really like LeFevour or Zac Robinson as possible QBs to draft heres the best highlights I could find of them.

If you want to see Sam Bradford highlights go to page 6 of this thread.

Chad Jones S from LSU is also a playmaker to look at in the later rounds.

we've already got one BUST safety from LSU...we don't need another. I'll take ciron black in rounds 4 or later though. I think we need to trade back, take CJ Spiller and hope that Brian Baluga is still around, in round two we can take the Pouncey kid from UF to replace Rabach.

It seems from what I read that Shanny wants to keep JC around...which is a good thing in reality...cause we have so many other holes...and while JC may not be a Brady or a Bree's or any other so claimed studs in the league...he is serviceable and had a great season behind our patchwork OLINE that we had.

what we need is some playmakers to surround him with, and most importantly...somebody to protect his rear end so he can turn his back to the defense on playfakes and not have to worry about getting creamed!

So because 1 player at a position from a school failed that means every other player at that position from the same school that follows is destined to fail also?? Landry has failed with us, i recall another safety that didnt do to well with us who went to the Steelers and was a starter on a championship defense. --Ryan Clark-- Maybe just maybe it was on the coaches of our defense and there are reasons that they are no longer here. Who knows, maybe Haslett can get LL to play up to his potential. But to say a player will fail because another player at the same position / same school did is just foolish.

i don't know if you can say R Clark didnt do well here. his level of play was alittle more then adequate. and he kept Taylor in check

If the skins don't spend major $$ in free agency on the o line. How can anyone say that they should not use the first 2 draft pick on a tackle and guard or center is mind boggling to me.

Just a note, turns out we might be able to get Terrance Cody in the Second Round, if we really are switching to the 3-4 then he would be a great acquisition. However personally I would only be on board with it if we were able to get picks more picks from trades, which is possible thanks to the lack of free agents available on the market trades for veterans will probably be on the rise. Still I want to see the team come away with either Bradford/Brown (T, USC) or Okung/ McCoy (QB Texas) with our first two picks.

O line needs to be addressed but there are some other positions on the team w/aging players, e.g. MLB, and positions that might see departures; CB, RB.
