So I know they played the game under protest, did they retract that since they won?
I read that the protest probably wouldn't have held up even if they had lost. Either way, I guess it's a (s)moot point.
Glad to see the Nationals get the W tonight. Was worried with how terrible the umping got towards the end. First Dunn catches the ball off the bag, then tags the player with probably two steps to go before reaching first base, ruled safe.
Zimmerman gets on base with his hit, first baseman catches the ball, but falls off the bag, yet he's ruled out. Then it seemed like nothing was going to be called for Capps unless it was dead center, but the Nats got the W so I'm happy.
yeah it definitely got a bit ridiculous towards the end |

Couldn't get anything going tonight and go figure the pitcher is from Alexandria too.

That it was and LOL at my brother texting me this morning saying he's going to get some tickets for the game.
Good luck, unless you plan on paying an arm and a leg. I should have bought four, but didn't even think about him. Really should have bought 6, then sold two for the price of the 4. |

Check out the Bryce Harper article. The Nat's could be real good in a few years or less.

Re: Nat's and O's - 2010 MLB Season

Yeah most people say Harper is a complete jerk, but he's too good to pass up I think.
Like what I've seen from Ian Desmond and Drew Storen so far this year (albeit limited innings so far for Storen) If the Nats can hang in there; late summer/early fall should be exciting when hopefully we have a rotation of Strasburg, Zimmerman and Chien Ming Wang |

There are plenty of elite young athletes who aren't and don't come as across as jerks the way Harper is said to come across.
