I just read an article on the Bleacher Report about a potential trade with the Steelers involving Mike Wallace and Chris Cooley.

How exactly are we going to afford Wallace exactly? Did they forget about the cap penalty? He denied Pittsburghs what, 4 year, 8.5 per?

To be clear, that's the author's own speculation. And ridiculous speculation at that. He and I had some words about this. He feels at some point the Steelers will have no choice but to trade Wallace for something like a 4th/5th and the Redskins are waiting to pounce.

He's completely off-base.

Bleacher Report makes some good hires (like Russell Baxter), but then they give a guy like this (who is an experienced media guy) that "Featured Columnist" title and it's all for naught.

But the MO there was clearly to go for the pageviews, and he succeeded

I never said anything about Cooley for Barnes.
But not only did Barnes play 16 games (which automatically makes him better then Jammal Brown).
But based on Profootball Focus Barnes graded out better then Brown.
Again its not saying much, but it is what it is.
