In that case Phillip Daniels as well
Is he out there????? Awesome, I always thought he was a lunch pail type of guy. |
Re: Giving props...
PD's our current director of player development...and, I think I've mentioned this before, may very well be on our coaching staff next season
|
Re: Giving props...
Let's not forget the contributions Trent Williams and Kory Lichtensteiger are making on the left side of the offensive line. They both are playing like All Pros.
Weren't you talking him up big time before he got here?
I sure was, he has been a nice addition and turned it around after his bonehead game against the Rams. |
Re: Giving props...
Let's also give props to Danny Smith for benching Brandon Banks....turned out to be a wise decision thanks in part to Richard Crawford's explosive punt return in OT.

Re: Giving props...
Smith did not bench him, was over his head

Pfffft, don't you know he's being shot out of a cannon? LOL. |

Props are sacred. They are not meant to be handed out like candy on Halloween. :) |
Re: Giving props...
Let's continue to give props. I want to give props to Kai Forbath for beginning his Redskins tenure in such a professional fashion. I just watched a DVD of the final preseason game this year against the Bucs and Forbath was punting for the Bucs. He had this hidden talent to boot FGs for all of this time and yet he was under the radar until he worked out for the Redskins.

Re: Giving props...
I have this growing fear that Kai's first miss will be a chip shot that would have launched us into the playoffs.

Please don't make Forbath out to be Eddie Murray. Forbath is not incompetent enough to miss an easy 19 yard FG with a playoff birth on the line. If he did he would become the most hated man in Washington. He's not going to choke like Cundiff did against the Patriots in last seasons AFC title game. Forbath is the real deal. |

Every kicker is that "incompetent." Even the best kickers miss gimme kicks sometimes. |

Anxiety fostered by years of ineptitude. I have the same feeling and have to continually remind myself that history doesn't affect the current. Just because our past kickers have been bad doesn't mean Kai will end up bad. This is what it is like to have a team worth something. Constant fear and loathing of sports tragedy. |

It would be nice to have a mulligan on that whole game. |
