Re: The Cut List 2014
Rams cut michael sam... kinda surprised... what do yall think of him??
|
Re: The Cut List 2014
safety Major Wright was cut, he had 101 tackles, and 2 interceptions last year
What does anyone think of him ? |
Re: The Cut List 2014
Sam's average. I think we're set at LB anyway.

Re: The Cut List 2014
I read that both Lester and Wright were dealing with injuries. Lester has/had an ACL sprain and Wright has/had a back injury. Wright missed almost the entire preseason.
They are both young players with good size. That's all I know about them. |

I think he was a long shot anyways with the Rams having such a stacked DE rotation. |

Tyler Gaffney this season. |

What is he...like 53 with a $40m deal? |
Re: The Cut List 2014
I was very surprised by the release of Zach Hocker. He clearly outperformed Kai Forbath. Not to mention Hocker bested Forbath on kickoffs, sending the majority of them to the rear of the endzone. I hope they sign Hocker to the practice squad.

Well start filing your grievance bro. I'm kinda surprised they didn't keep him. Silas Redd did look nice. |
Re: The Cut List 2014
I didn't see Phillip Thomas name on the final roster cuts. Has this been verified that he was cut. I think losing Brandon M. for 2 games came in play for Akeem Davis making the roster. Davis does appear to be a good special teams player. I hope we can bring back Chris Thompson and Lache Seastrunk to the PS. Also maybe they put Crawford and Hocker on PS.

Define "clearly outperformed." |

Me either. It's not like Forbath didn't fuck up a ton the first pre-season game. I think his short kickoffs lead to our STs getting exposed. |

Redd earned his job. If Lache makes it through to the PS, all will be forgiven. |

Not to get off topic. But Forbath too missed a field goal in the first preseason game. Hocker sent his kickoffs for touchbacks during the majority of his kickoffs and Forbath failed in this area. If they are going to draft a kicker who is #1 accurate, #2 has a stronger leg than the kicker they want him to push, then why not just send the other kicker his walking papers?Forbath won't be what he was two years ago....Hocker is the better kicker of the two....Hocker even showed that he could hit on special teams....DEFINED. |
