Re: Around the NFL…Week 8
The Eagles schedule is so soft. They are not as elite as their record.
Chase Young 2020 & 2021 seasons
24 games 70 total tackles (solo + assisted) 6 forced fumbles 9 sacks 16 QB hits Montez Sweat 2020 & 2021 seasons 26 games 69 total tackles (solo + assisted) 5 forced fumbles 14 sacks 33 QB hits Sweat gets to the QB more. He plays less snaps too - about 68% compared to about 79% for Chase.
Dang, my opinion on Sweat is clearly flawed… |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 8
Looks like the Bears are finally learning how to run an offense with Justin Fields. His last three games have been good.

The COLTS have Fired Frank Reich

Re: Around the NFL…Week 8
Once again, proof if it was needed (and it wasn't) that the owner picking QBs never works.

We gotta consider Reich if we are not going to keep Rivera after this season. |

No thanks. I think there are a number of other promising coaches out there I'd rather see get a shot (Leftwich, Bienemy, Ryans, Quinn). I think Reich as an OC might not be bad, but I don't think he managed his time in Indy all that well. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 8
Jeff Saturday? Never coached a game in his life and is the HC of the Colts? Wow. Just wow.

This. OC yes. HC hell no. Enough with other peoples garbage. |

I don't trust a man that won't shave his stubble on gameday. Grow a beard or shave, be a fucking grown-up. |

What…they made Jeff Saturday the HC? He’s not on staff is he? |

It looks like he was working as a consultant for them. That being said, I feel like this shows how much Irsay is meddling with the team. |

Damn, what a slap in the face to all the remaining coaches. Dude is an ESPN analyst. From ESPN: The Colts named Jeff Saturday as their interim head coach. Saturday, 47, a six-time Pro-Bowl center who played 13 seasons for the Colts and is currently an ESPN analyst, has been a consultant for the team and is in its Ring of Honor. |
Re: Around the NFL…Week 8
Well, looking forward to seeing Saturday on Sunday.

I feel like Bienemy has something weird going on, he's interviewed with almost half the teams in the league over the last 3 years it seems and not one offer that we know of. Leftwich has had Tom Brady, so he hasn't proven anything either and can't seem to get it figured out this year when Brady isn't perfect. |
