Im thouroughly convinced that with a healthy Griff we are part of this thread rite now. Damn. Just damn. Next year we are going to make a serious run and thats not coming from the same place that all the "next year" talk in the past has come from.
|
Asshole Bowl! Cant wait.
Also its sad, new Orleans is just recovering from Katrina and they're going to get flooded by Ray Lewis' tears. Him and John Boehner should make out. |

I'm happy for Carlos Rogers.

I don't think Brady is a sore loser. His coach is a different story. Hoody should get fined for not talking to the media after the game. That was awful. |
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
Is anyone else already tired of this whole Ray Lewis lovefest? That post game nonsense, where he's on his knees preying and crying and what not, that crap almost made me throw up. I like and respect the Ravens team/organization but I'm already tired of them and their win one for Ray BS.

His antics, and there's really no other word for it, during the national anthem was ridiculous. I know he's emotional because any game could be his last but at this point he's during into a WWE character.
Someone on facebook made a good point - for 17 years he's preached nothing but TEAM, TEAM, TEAM but now it seems like it's all about him. You can definitely blame good portion of that on the media, but it's not like he isn't feeding them this crap. |

To a degree yes . However , I love seeing the Pats lose . I don't like SF much either so I will hope for Reed , Flacco and Suggs to win . |
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
2 Very Risking Coaching moves that turned out to be catalysts:
1. Kapernick move to QB after Smith had been very solid all year 2. Firing of Cameron late in the season to Caudwell who had never called plays. I was iffy on both moves at first, looking back these were the right calls. |

I don't think I can endure a post-Super Bowl sermon from him. I really don't want to see another rookie QB, especially a tattoo'd wanna-be RGIII win, but between the local Ravens fans and Ray Lewis, I have to root for the Niners. |
Ravens fans are on par with Dallas fans. They aren't as bad as the Eagles fans, but all Ravens fans think they are God's gift to football and their team can do no wrong.
Personally I don't have a problem with the Giants.
Summed it up well. I live in PA, about 45 mins from Baltimore and you should see how many Ravens fans are coming out of the closets. They sure can talk a lot WHEN they're WINNING. I really don't want to endure a year of them at work either. It was great to beat them this year. They need to lose for what they did to RGIII too. |

You are right...I keep forgetting that . He just seems like a rookie since he sat a year. I believe if RGIII was healthy, we'd beat any team in the NFC in the playoffs. We were beating Atlanta until they whacked him in the head, were beating Seattle handily until his knee went out and we could surely run our own offense better than SF. Seriously, when he's healthy, we seem invincible. |

He has quietly been having another great year. His name was never called because Matt was throwing away from him and picking on the other corner. |

I don't think either is a wanna-be. Both are excellent athletes, and as was mentioned, if that Ngata hit doesn't happen, who knows what the rest of the season brings. |

Only when the other guy has them I guess. Keep it classy Skins fans. |

Yes, don't remind me. Next season cant get here to soon! |
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
You guys think you have it bad, i have to put up listening how great the 49ers are the Harbaugh's, etc. if the 49ers win it will be my second ticker tape parade in 3 months (Giants WS win) outside my building. I'll be hearing about their 6 SB vs skins 3, blah, blah, blah. GO RAVENS!!

His gay lover, actually Steve B. owner of the Ravens. |

You mean the same Carlos Rogers everyone wanted gone because he sucked and could catch a ball? He even dropped one yesterday but he also kept the WR form catching it. I also programmed my TV to go mute the minute Ray's name is mentioned or he starts talking. |

I feel like theres no reason for me to go to church on sundays after watching ray giving pre and post game interviews I've had enough of "Lord" "Jesus" and "God" from Reverand/Pastor Ray and his speeches.

It does get a little annoying I agree. |
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
The Harbaugh family has ascended to become NFL royalty. Soon they will be interbreeding with the Mannings, Rooneys, and Maras, at which time all hell will break loose.
|
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
then they can battle the Klingon's for intergalactic domination.
|
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
The Ravens run will be short lived , this is it for them IMO.
SF will be solid for a few more years but with Seattle and STL coming on strong that will hurt SF |
Re: Around the NFL: Conference Championships Edition
What the hell was that play when Brady had an easy chance to get the FD and pulls up to throw it away on 4th down needing a score.

horrible play. brady wasn't brady. that sequence before halftime was the worst. |
The patriots Are not a sb team anymore, they can't stop AIR on defense and they refuse to get legitimate WRs to help Brady. Welker is nice but he's a slot at best. GRONK looks like an injury prone player already.
