Re: Redskins 2018 Off Season Re/Signings
I'd like to beat the drum for signing Dante Moncrief. The knocks on him have been that he's missed too many games and that he hasn't performed well since the Colts have been without Andrew Luck. As far as I can determine, none of his injuries has been serious enough to affect his performance moving forward. Also, we have a very capable QB in AS who can get him the ball. Moncrief is a very athletic 6-2 215 pound 25 years-old speedster with good hands who can and will do whatever a team would want a WR to do. He is no one-trick pony. If you don't believe me, just put on some video of him and then let me know what you think.
What if we could get these kind of numbers out of him playing with AS? He put up these numbers playing with Andrew Luck. YEAR TEAM G GS REC YDS AVG LG TD 20+ 40+ 1ST 2015 Colts 16 10 64 733 11.5 33 6 9 0 40 |

When Luck was healthy, Moncrief played great so it might be due to no chemistry between him and QBs other than Luck. |
Re: Redskins 2018 Off Season Re/Signings
Are any of our drafted wr's going to be able to start? Mo Harris? What about Robert Davis? He's 6'3 and had a hell of a college tape. I'm looking for one of them to do something this year. Maybe one of these guys can become what Thielin was for the Vikings.

#Redskins ready to increase role of Moreau Looks like we have our number 3 already. (I think we do keep breeland) |

Well I have to say, I didn't expect this. |
Re: Redskins 2018 Off Season Re/Signings
Not very high on this option.
Probably expensive. Not a huge fan of 1 year prove it deal. Cause yeah if he plays like Pryor you're happy you didn't commit but you had a pretty expensive bad player for one year. And if he plays like Brown you wish you had signed him long term... At this point I'd rather sign our guys and a WR. And draft DT, RB, LG and Bpa Def. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |

But I feel like it's another point against 1 year prove it deals: now we wish Brown was staying, but not at 10M+/y. Last year he would have gladly signed a 5 year 30M contract. Virgil Tibbs had a crystal ball from last year! I am always for adding legit talent to the front 7. I also like the idea of paying more to get more especially on shorter deals. The laundry list of JAGs (just a guy): Pae, Hatcher, McGhee, Mclain, Bowen, Cofield, Hood, Taylor. Eric Shaffer has been awesome with cap management. Let's get some talent. |

I think this is a great move. He is coming off surgery and a tough injury, but everybody who covers the team says Murphy's work ethic is second to none. He has been solid and above average and shown constant improvement (hope it wasn't PED related). I really like him. |

The secondary and the D overall would be significantly improved with him no doubt |

This tampering period is such a tease. I got blue balls having to wait at least 2 more days to sign our new Skins.

Redskins 2018 Off Season Re/Signings
This is the first time in a while I’m hoping we’re aggressive. If the concern with keeping Kirk was we wouldn’t have money to build around him then then dammit we better use that money we saved, especially when your new QB is 34 and ready to win now.
