Re: WFT vs Broncos gameday thread
Coaches making stupid assumptions and wasting time from 2 plus minutes out. Once they got into the Redzone they needed to hurry just in case they didn't get in the endzone. Then they'd have had about 90-100 seconds with their timeouts to force a punt and get one last chance. Must be a Gieco commercial in there somewhere. If you are Washington coach or GM you make bad decisions - it's just what you do (This includes cutting Hopkins with no one really out there to replace him with).

Out of the endzone.

Re: WFT vs Broncos gameday thread
So we hold them to less than 200
Yards passing and less than 100 yards rushing. And lose. Because that’s what losers do. No way to spin this. That sucked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This team ruins football. They aren't fun to watch. Just a pathetic football team coached by pathetic coaches.

Love the blame game every week. Always a fall guy for what would otherwise be a good team. Lol.
This team is miles and miles and miles from good. Not a kicker away. Not a quarterback away. We are both and a whole lot else, plus an entire new coaching staff. |

Re: WFT vs Broncos gameday thread
The ticket kept cutting in and out for me. I missed a LARGE portion of the game cause it kept signing me out. But the results were exactly as I suspected.
"Bad teams find ways to lose games" that quote from 2 weeks ago from Allen resonates. This team is bad, and they know it. And we know it. And everyone knows it. There isn't one good facet of our team. Can't wait for next week. |

The defense, in all honesty, has played better the past two or three weeks. The offense (Turner), along with Rivera has screwed us. |
WFT vs Broncos gameday thread
Season over. I don’t see us winning another game. Really. The eagles pummeled the Lions today. Yeah they’re the Lions, but when was the last time we did that to anyone? 2-15. Then what?
I think the best case scenario would be we lose our owner, new owner comes in and hires a real GM and then some better coaches, and we create a new infrastructure with a new name even. We went from division champ to rebuild fast. Damn, it’s effing depressing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Cutting Hopkins probably was the biggest reason the Redskins lost this game, the screen pass to Seales on 4 and 1 was idiotic and just throwing time away from 2 plus minutes out demonstrated a complete lack of analytical thought on the part of the coaches. |

I watched just about the entire rams game from my pc and it was fine (my lady was watching "you"). Switched to the living room TV for the ski...er....washington game, and kept signing me put saying there was a glitch. Super happy to pay mad money for a year and have this happen. Locally I only get like12 games on the ticket....pretty shitty when 1 of them is basically unwatchable. |

2-6 for the 2nd straight year. Ron is a bad coach folks

We'll win enough games to not have the very high draft pick we need.

We don't play the Jaguars or Lions. I'm sure we will win a couple more. We will probably win a couple more solely because it's really hard to lose 13 straight. |

Should have promoted Kyle Smith to GM and hired Kevin O’Connell as HC. Clean house and bring both back. |
Re: WFT vs Broncos gameday thread
I never understood all of the Huzzah's that were heaped upon Rivera when he was hired and how everybody bought into the myth that he was going to rebuild the franchise the right way. From my perspective he seemed to be a guy who was never really a very good coach and just had a couple of good years when things broke his way in Carolina.
Turner should be fired now.
The issues I have with his playcalling are all the passes around the LOS. The third down where RSJ dropped the ball - even if he caught he would've been short. The third down to Terry McLaurin where Simmons zoomed in on him like a heat-seeking missile. But then I think about how much Heinicke limits his playcalling and Turner gets a pass. He has a squad real thin on playmakers and heavy on injured offensive linemen. |

It's pointless unless the route is guaranteed to get YAC and there's no route in the tree that can guarantee YAC. And, to a limited extent in Turner's defence, you have a QB that while having a ton of moxxy, has accuracy issues (namely overthrowing the EZ on a short hail mary!), so any plays you have drawn up that rely on precision execution are already handicapped before they are run. |

That is the $64m question. Are they running the routes they are being asked to or are they completely clueless as to where the 1st down marker is. Only the coaches and players know. I saw Humphries run a beautiful route, ran 1 yard past the 1st marker then turned right into the flat , pass complete, first down. I know my standards are low, but right now basic game and situational IQ is such a rarity that when you see it , it looks beautiful, why dont all the teams run it like that... oh wait.... they do. Smh |

Yeah it's hard to tell - on that 3rd? 4th? where RSJ was in the flat - did he cut his route short or was it designed for him that way? And then the terrible throw from Taylor Panicke and that play was doomed from the start. |
