Recently seen:

Buried- 9/10. Ryan Reynolds stuck in a coffin for 90 minutes. This film is a true test of what a film crew can do with a camera, lighting and sound. And Reynolds steps his game way up in this flick.

Town- 7/10. Excellent action sequences, but didn't live up to the hype for me. Liked Gone Baby Gone better.

Devil- 8/10. I now know what Shamalamadingdong's problem is- the dude can't direct or write dialogue, but he has a great imagination. This one kinda surprised me. Stick to the story and let the experts direct/write.

Can't wait for this weekend: Let Me In is going to kick the original's ass (and I loved Let The Right One In). The Social Network combines television's best writer (Sorkin) with one of Hollywood's best directors (Fincher)... look for Oscar noms.

Down the road, Coen brothers also return with a True Grit adaptation (featuring The Dude). And who doesn't love a little darkness in their lives?:

Based on the previews it looks like they did a pretty good job with the casting and overall mood.

You're right ! It really was shot well, and yes that scene was beautiful. I was already a fan of classical music so adding them just made that lovely music really speak to me. Can't wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray. I have a 3D kit on my new tv as well so I'll get to see it in 3D.

Damn, I wanted to see Catfish too!

Caught the midnight screening of Let Me In. You're not going to believe this, but it's better than the original. LMI's a masterpiece- 10/10.

See it man, you might like it. But I don't think it's what you think it is.

I thought BA did a good job on Town though. Definitely a good flick, decent storyline.

I saw The Slammin' Salmon when it first came out and I thought it was pretty decent. Not as good as some of their other work but it still had its' moments. Michael Clarke Duncan was especially hilarious in it, I loved his attitude.

The Social Network is an excellent film. The story behind Facebook is intriguing. Great writing (Sorkin), direction (Fincher) and score (Reznor).

Went to see this Saturday. Awesome, awesome film I loved it so much!

The car seen at the gas station was so awesome!

When Hit Girl turned she remind me of Regen form the Exorcist.

Yeah, that car scene was brilliant. Hit Girl was awesome!

I haven't seen it yet but I've read articles from friends close to Mark Zuckerberg and they say it paints a very bad picture of him, that he wasn't anything like what he's portrayed in the movie. Having not seen it and not knowing Mark Zuckerberg I don't have much of an opinion on it but it doesn't seem like a nice thing to do if that is true.

And I just saw The International last night. I definitely liked that one, waited long enough for it to come out but it was very good. And it was a nice redemption for Clive Owen because the last movie I saw him in before The International was Shoot 'Em Up and I couldn't take him seriously in that one at all.

From what I've gathered, Sorkin definitely took creative liberties with the story. While Zuckerberg isn't painted as a saint, the movie shows that nobody came out clean during Facebook's ascension. Zuckerberg is written in a way that leaves much to be interpreted from the viewer. You should still watch it if you have any interest... it's a good flick.
