Good move. He's great depth and has made some beautiful plays over the last couple of years.

Edit: That article says, "He’s been a serviceable edge rusher in the past (4.5 sacks in 2012), and with Ryan Kerrigan gone, he might get more snaps and a chance to prove himself again, or at least give them some experienced depth." Ryan Kerrigan gone? What's Darin Gantt been smoking lately?

Excellent. We need OLB depth and IMO Jackson ably provides that.

They edited the article. It now says:

"He’s been a serviceable edge rusher in the past (4.5 sacks in 2012), and he gives them some experienced depth behind Ryan Kerrigan and Brian Orakpo."

a+ for that. i assume he's making basically nothing, since there wasn't much of a market for him.
I doubt it.

Hes a QB for the Edmonton Eskimos.
A quick Google search revealed the message board below. Pat White was brought in as camp competition for the "Esks", and there were actually people who wanted him on our 53-man roster? Also, I discovered that Jacory Harris, formerly from the Hurricanes, is on their roster. Good for him; I'm glad he found work somewhere.

Pat White...another failed Shanny QB experiment. Seems like a good guy, but in the world of football, the spare loft over the awesome party is where he belongs.

Lol I wouldnt call him a shanny experiment .. Much more of a mobility emulator while rg3 was shelved in the off season for practice and shit

I think that Bruce & Co. have done a very good job in FA.

There's only one item remaining on my FA shpping list. I'd still like to see the Skins pick up a veteran RT to compete with Polumbus.

Well, to replace Polumbus would be the idea...

Redskins released ILB Josh Hull, WR Josh Bellamy, and CB Ryan Mouton.

Seriously. How can there not be someone better? I can find probably three people in my office that could "compete" with him.

I think their plan was to draft one. You're more likely to get a career long starter drafting the o-line. It's a better strategy than finding an older guy in free agency.
