Good move. He's great depth and has made some beautiful plays over the last couple of years. Redskins bring Rob Jackson back again | ProFootballTalk Edit: That article says, "He’s been a serviceable edge rusher in the past (4.5 sacks in 2012), and with Ryan Kerrigan gone, he might get more snaps and a chance to prove himself again, or at least give them some experienced depth." Ryan Kerrigan gone? What's Darin Gantt been smoking lately? |

Excellent. We need OLB depth and IMO Jackson ably provides that. |

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
a+ for that. i assume he's making basically nothing, since there wasn't much of a market for him.
I doubt it.
Hes a QB for the Edmonton Eskimos.
Than I have a new favorite team. Do you know the name of their fan site? |

A quick Google search revealed the message board below. Pat White was brought in as camp competition for the "Esks", and there were actually people who wanted him on our 53-man roster? Also, I discovered that Jacory Harris, formerly from the Hurricanes, is on their roster. Good for him; I'm glad he found work somewhere. Jacory Harris drove me crazy at Miami. Always thought he was going to be a great one. Glad hes working too. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Pat White...another failed Shanny QB experiment. Seems like a good guy, but in the world of football, the spare loft over the awesome party is where he belongs.
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Lol I wouldnt call him a shanny experiment .. Much more of a mobility emulator while rg3 was shelved in the off season for practice and shit

Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
I think that Bruce & Co. have done a very good job in FA.
There's only one item remaining on my FA shpping list. I'd still like to see the Skins pick up a veteran RT to compete with Polumbus. |
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Well, to replace Polumbus would be the idea...
|
Re: Redskins Free Agents Signings Thread
Redskins released ILB Josh Hull, WR Josh Bellamy, and CB Ryan Mouton.

Seriously. How can there not be someone better? I can find probably three people in my office that could "compete" with him. |

I think their plan was to draft one. You're more likely to get a career long starter drafting the o-line. It's a better strategy than finding an older guy in free agency. |
