I think Allen must have some serious dirt on Snyder, something that would embarrass him publicly, cost him his marriage, family and force him to sell the Redskins if it came out. What else can explain why Allen gets an expanded role when he deserves to be fired?

That's exactly what I think. Bruce Allen with his political ties likely saw / handled many shady or borderline illegal things that the Redskins or Snyder have done. With Allen being the guy who is pulling the trigger / handling the wet work. He has been at the front of enough stuff behind the scenes that he probably has enough of a dossier to probably get people put in jail, and probably has enough that like you said, Snyder would lose his marriage, be publicly humiliated, and / or face criminal charges that would force him to have to sell the team. And Dan knows this as well, which is why he is letting Bruce do as he pleases, but he is probably hoping that Bruce retires on his own.

Let’s not go down the tinfoil hat road guys. Allen is here for the same reason Vinny lasted so long with mediocre results. For reasons we’ll never understand he trusts him. Simple as that.

I talk to vinny here and there he is intertwined with some of kids sports. He is a very nice guy and I could see him yesing DS to death. DS loves his yes men.

Did anyone think that this would end any other way? We figured he would either get shitcanned, “demoted” to the strictly business side, or worst case scenario remain exactly where he is at. Instead he gets total control back over both personnel and money. Dan Snyder you have surpassed Satan in my mind as far as evil people go. Congratulations.
