So what happened from last year to this year?

some due to injuries. we have possible repalcements for LOLB, SS, QB.[/quote]

I'll agree at K, but at SS we totally overpaid for what he brings to the table, but once he's allowed to play the way he was meant to, he'll be fine. I don't think we have holes at CB. Sure, Springs is old, but I'm talking in terms of this year.I really only see LOLB and K.

Archuleta doesn't compliment Taylor at all, he's a crappier version of him. We are not fine at corner, springs has a history of injuries and it doesnt seem like it's gonna go away. don't even get me started about special teams, I have no idea how we won 10 games last year with the ST the way it was, and it's gotten worse since then (besides randel el). I love our skill position guys (besides brunell), but all teams have good skilled position guys. We should invest everything into our defense. DEFENE DEFENSE DEFENSE, then we will be fine, because the saunders offense will be rolling by next season. As long as we keep our O-line in tact.

What's WRONG with our special teams besides kicker? Frost has had a couple bad ones this year, but honestly, he's playing DECENT enough to keep, where he's at least not a liability.

frost chokes and he's not good anyways. i said some were due to injuries, but if we have no holes, why are we terrible? RE, LE, and DT2 are NOT strong points, that's or sure, and DB depth has been terrible, though prioleau's on IR and vincent just got here.

Actually, since the Cowboy game will be the first game this year when the D MAY be healthy, it would be a better time to judge their game. Granted, this season has brought out the problems with lack of depth, but the starting team might surprise you? I could use that sort of surprise!

So could my heart and liver. Maybe I won't have to pound beers to make it through the game.

It has been a................challenge! Like pain, it will feel so good when it stops. Perhaps the Cowboys are the cure!

Never would have thought the Cowboys would be the cure for anything.

Hog, I hate to disagree here, we've had what six, seven games to judge this team? And the whole injury argument, while it's true, it's not an excuse in the NFL.

I'll say it time and time again, injuries in the NFL are a reality not an excuse. When your team is clicking and playing hard nosed football, that brand of football generally wears off on the reserves as well.
