kinda sux that Jin dies, but it makes sense he would die to protect Sun and their child. Any bets on who takes a dirt nap next week?
I wouldn't go so far as to say he's dead - we just know he doesn't make it back as part of the Oceanic 6. So far, nobody has referenced the survivors dying, AFAIK.

Do you guys think the girl who jumped off the boat actually died? I'm thinking maybe she dove into the water to go into the submarine. Plus I wonder if she's the spy.

I read that it is most likely she was the RG on Naomi's bracelet. So she was torn up over Naomi being dead.

Good call. Her name is Regina after all
Not the best episode, but pretty good. Probably would have been better if I hadn't known Michael was the "man on the ship". His character sucks, so I'm not thrilled to see him back.

Did anyone notice the date on Jin's gravestone? It says "9/22/2004", the day of the crash. Nothing revolutionary - just interesting how thorough the writers are.
What is 3/20/1980 and 11/27/1974 on the tombstone all about?

Jin's and Sun's birthdays. I think it is common practice to put the birthdays of both spouses on a tombstone like that.

That was my guess. But you know how it is, this show always makes you think twice.

It does make then younger than I would have thought but not so much so.

So I guess Sun being an child of the 80's explains it all.

Beside some of the occurrences on the ship, I would say a pretty lame/"filler" episode to me. The producers always promise good episode but they always tend to disappoint once in a while.

They also said that the book she was "reading" upside down was a Jules Vern story (I forgot the name at the moment; Survivors of the Something) was about a group of people ship wrecked on an island. One by one they all go crazy because of the isolation and the fact that they doubt they'll ever be rescued which causes them all to kill themselves.
That book seems fitting for the ship.

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)

If Ben's source is Michael then it makes sense why he would drop the note "Dont trust the Captain" because Ben wouldn't want Witman's word to get to Sayid and Des.

If Sayid ends up as a hitman for Ben does that pretty much mean Witman is the "good guy"?

Agreed - not nearly as good as the other ones this season.

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)

I have to agree with onlydarksets...neither Sun or Hurley, or the doctor staff ever refer to Jin as being dead. I'm guessing that it could be part of Jack's (or I guess the O-6) elaborate story that 2 of them died during the plane crash and rescue, leading us to believe the 9.22.04 death date for Jin on the tombstone or memorial marker.

I think Regina's dead. I think being close to the Island messed with her head and she couldn't take it anymore. Although the sub theory is interesting...

I'm looking forward to this week, to see how Michael got to Kevin, and where in the heck is Walt...

It seemed like Sun was packing when she started having labor pains, I wonder where she was headed?

I thought they were going to shut it down for a bit and air the 8th episode (filmed pre-strike) with numbers 9-14 (post-strike) in a few months.
