Well, thats enough for me. With all that evidence how could someone not believe you?

As for Daniels on the practice squad, I think that is highly unlikely. A Qb on the PS is a waste of a roster spot IMO. With so few spots available you need them all for position players, not players that are untouchable in practice. One of the biggest reasons for the practice squad players is to take some reps off of the regular players to keep them fresh while still being able to run an efficient practice. There really is no place for a 4th QB on a team, hell some teams only carry 2. While the redskins are not in a position to carry just 2 of them, they cant afford the luxury of carrying 4.
Send me the steelers game or the second Dallas game or pretty much any game in the second half of the season and I'll be glad to point out all the mistakes and could have been plays that JC messes up with along with the sacks and the clueless look on his face after he gets sacked or picked...that's what I know I'm talking about decision making and reads aren't really in your stat books there now is it gibbsisgod

Thank you for wishing harm on a Redskin. AGAIN. You are a true Cowboys fan.

Also, redskinsgirl schooled you, for one.
To answer your question, you need to be more specific with what subpar QBs your reffering to...there could be tons of reasons why
I'm talking about all the subpar QBs who teams made the playoffs in 08.

Re: Colt Brennan Says He'll "Play A Ton" In The Preseason

it wont take an injury for JC to get pulled.. 4 or 5 games of watchin Mr Checkdown miss open wr's and Zorn will have a decision to make.

Whether you guys want to acknowledge it or not there are reasons we couldnt trade this guy. Minn,TB and the Jets all needed a QB yet they said no thanks,we'll take our chances on a rookie who has never thrown a pass in the NFL. either that or a old guy with a bad shoulder.

redskinsgirl 07-06-2009 08:12 PM
My question to you and Buchanan is how come other teams with subpar QB play can still make the playoffs and even win superbowls, but the skins can't

What does Matt Ryan have that JC doesnt?? both have a good running back behind them and we have a better D than ATL. defenses stack the line to slow CP yet JC cant take advantage. thats how those one on one situations like i showed earlier happen. But JC throws short more often than not. stats dont lie. 0 tds on 3rd down.
Matt Ryan didn't do much more than JC last season. Matt Ryan threw 3 more TDS and for about 200 more yards and had more ints. I am confused, were you trying to show that Matt Ryan was way better than J.C last season???

So are you saying if QB doesn't throw tds on 3rd downs then he can't win games???

You still didn't answer my question.

You still didn't explain why QBs who played worse or about the same as JC, teams still made the playoffs?

Because their offense avg'd more than 13 pts a game over the 2nd half of the season.. There is your answer.
This is the most ridiculous/stupid/unintelligent thing I have seen on this board. Are you f'ing serious? Your wish is for a Redskins player to get hurt as your ideal scenario?? If you hate a player on your team so much that you wish injury upon him, I think it is time for you to reconsider why you are a fan of this team.
i think you need to wake up and stop dreaming and start seeing reality there Ruhski, lets face it im the realistic person, your the optimistic person...Your one of those people that think "Jasons only been in the offense for one year and has changed coordinators for 9 years or whatever, He'll do great this year cause he's in year two of zorns offense" Ya let me tell you whats gonna happen, the same stuff from last year, you think drew brees going from san diegos offense to new orleans he was saying we'll im switching offenses so im gonna take a few steps back this year cause im switching offenses, you think roethlisberger said that when whisenhunt left, how bout matt ryan going from college to the atlanta, how bout flacco going from Division 2 to the starting QB of the Ravens, Eli switched coordinators midway through 06 and still made the playoffs, and one the super bowl the next year.....i could go on and on..
do you see now why i dont like campbell?!? And you say i need to consider my team, I've been with this team from Kent cook to Snyder, the thing that needs to change the most is snyder but that isn't gonna happen and yes ive wished for even worse than an injury on him, but the next thing that needs to change is the QB every team starts and ends with the QB and Jasons our hole in the dam that i dont see closing up any time soon....now as for me wishing for an injury on him, I mean sure thats bad (i wish for tom brady to get injured every year and see what thats done for me other than last year), but a few things, i only wish he gets hurt just to miss half a game, not something season ending, another thing is that this is all speculation you all are freaking out thinking that jasons actually gonna get injured or something....now why do i want him to get quickly hurt...because i want to see what Colt can do against a first team D with a first team Offense, and i don't think zorn has the balls to take jason out of a game (regular or preseason) to put colt in cause he's already disrespected campbell by wanting other QB's and he's already told him that he'll be our starter entering 09, if he were to take him out and put in colt expect jason to get pissed, and what if colt werent all that great, then our QB situation would be sooo F'ed up cause of what zorn just pulled, and then i'll finally shut up about colt seeing for myself that he wasn't that great after all..but back to colt in a game, so ya if jason where to get hurt then zorn would HAVE to put colt in or atleast that would be his perfect time to put him in instead of todd collins, assuming and hoping of course that he beats out todd, which i think he will, because he seems much more suited for the WCO than todd does...again this is just speculation..im still one of the biggest redskin fans here

That is the answer?? That explained alot to me.

How did their offense average more than 13 pts a game if the QBs threw less TDs or no more than 3 TDS than Campbell in games during the regular season?? How were those teams able to average more than 13 points a game if their QBs wasn't throwing alot of TDs????

Re: Colt Brennan Says He'll "Play A Ton" In The Preseason
"Colt is still a raw" -- it really does sound exactly like rah -- "young quarterback. What Colt has is great gamesmanship. He has the ability to make a dramatic throw, and what we're working on Colt on is what I just referred to with those other two: just being fundamentally very sound on his drops, ball location, decision-making. What Colt can do is just play the game. He can throw from any position, so that's what makes him special.

"And we're excited about Chase. We're very fortunate to get him in as our fourth quarterback to come in and compete in camp. Chase is a great student of the game, incredibly bright, and will work his tail off. So I think we really have four great quarterbacks as we prepare for the year."

-Chris Meidt- Offensive assistant.
Once again you cherry-pick to support your point rather than giving us all of the facts. Here's what Meidt had to say about JC in the same interview:

"I think Jason's doing just an absolutely awesome job. Even through all the other talk, he just came back to work. He worked as hard if not harder through the chaos. He came in and took charge of this football team during minicamp and OTAs. He was in charge at the line of scrimmage, he used multiple cadences, he audibled -- I mean, he did things that he just wasn't ready for at this point last year.

"He was on receivers if they ran the wrong route, he was on the O-line when they jumped a couple of times ... he had complete charge of this football team. So we were thrilled about that.

"And he threw the ball well. Mechanically, he's getting better every week. He keeps working on that."

So how does that support Colt's starting?

its the same one so it doesn't matter read my post above this one bro...and shocker your a campbell fan cause your from mississippi..and redskingirl just copyed stats from nfl or espn.com and just threw those out there she clearly wouldn't know that off the top of her head, for all i know she could be JC's girlfriend

Sigh. I already listed a couple in a few posts back. Since you consider JC supbar that would be any QB who stats were worse or similar to JC when it come to yards, TDS, and int.

Re: Colt Brennan Says He'll "Play A Ton" In The Preseason

Baltimore scored 214 pts their last 8 games. thats over 25 pts a game on avg. So obviousley the QB was getting his team in position to score. Like when Collins took over and led us to the playoffs,he wasnt having monster games yet we avg'd 20+ points a game with him at the helm. Same team that was left for dead with JC under Center.
