Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
I for one am growing tired of the weekly commentary of Deangelo "I play two hand touch" Hall.

Yeah it'd be nice if he worked on his tackling instead of wasting his time talking shit... |
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
So we can say it but for a guy who lives football eveyday it's taboo? What a bunch of hypocrites. Preach on brotha Hall!

If Hall wants to say it in his private life, as I do, I'm all for it. But Hall broadcasts his views to the media in a way which might have a negative effect on the team. My comments do not affect the team at all. So there's a difference. |
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
You are saying it on a public message board, maybe not as far reaching as ESPN, but public none the less. Fans have been booing out loud in the stadiums. I would argue that it does affect the team to some extent. You think that since he is a player he should keep his mouth shut. I think that s a player he has even more of a right to vent. The team is already screwed I doubt that Hall's comments are going to make thing worse than they already are.

That may be true. But his comments certainly are not going to make things any better, which Deanglelo does not seem to realize. Sometimes it is best to just say nothing. Hall has shown us on a weekly basis that he does not understand this. |
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
Hall is actually pretty classy from what I can see. He's not really torching anyone. All of these guys are sucking it up for the most part, except that prima donna CP. Maybe I get that impression because D.Hall speaks English and not jive?

The funny thing about this is that if it weren't for Hall, CP would still not have a TD this season. |
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
Well, the last time Hall played on a team that didn't suck, he was pretty well behaved.
Although perhaps that was because he was a rookie. |

But unfortunately this is a guy who takes plays off and/or plays to not get hurt in certain situations. He's getting attention for his piss-poor plays rather than locker room antics...the locker room stuff gets old real fast when Monday night football is running highlights of you giving up on plays. |

Yeah I understand that, the players have a right to an opinion and somewhat of a reason to air it out.. but their comments DO hit media.. and if the media and the fans are affecting the team, this can be more of that |
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
How about Sonny Jurgensen calling the plays?
|
Re: Zorn to stop calling plays
I don't think Zorn is a wus because I can see him going toe to toe with me in a dark alley. I don't think he deserves to be humiliated like this. He should man up though. We'll see what happens Monday Night.
