re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Mentioned this to Matty earlier, but I think we're going to be offering Sproles a big contract come Friday morning
Ben Hamilton and Casey Weigmann will probably be here pretty quickly as well...or we may just wait for the rest of free agency to play out first knowing that we plan on signing them anyway. Like we did with Hunter Smith last year Not sure where we are with Robinson, think he wants to be here more than we want him here (could be wrong though) Dansby could take a while |

And don't forget about our old friend Jeremy Bridges, he might be making a return

re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Has there been any word about the redskins tendering any of their players? I haven't really heard anything up to this point(I figured there would be 6 threads started to announce this)

Behind hiring Zorn, dropping Bridges for no reason was easily one of the worst moves by Vinny. |

i am okay with him returning if he has got his **** together. the guy has acted like a total idiot in the past, off the field that is. |

He did nothing wrong last year. |
re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
If Robinson accepts a lesser deal to come here this could be a steal. I'd like to see this secondary take the field in '10
RCB- Hall FS Rolle SS- Landry LCB Robinson |

RCB- Hall FS Rolle SS- Landry LCB Robinson[/quote] Rolle, IMO won't be here, he'll either stay in AZ or go to Miami like he's said he's wanted to. Now Ryan Clark or Darren Sharper...thats more likely and not bad at all for us. And for any people out there that think Sharper's to old or isn't worth the money, just ask the saints, or look at Brian Dawkins and how he's still going at 38 (or 37 I'm not sure but he's up there) |
re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Oh and Denver still hasn't tendered Chris Kuper, so theres still a good possibility that he can come here.

I think Sharper or Clark would be good 1-year deals. Although, I believe both are going to want longer contracts and a lot of money. But, getting either of them would be great. |

in the last year, thats true. but acting like a drunken idiot at a restaurant and pointing a gun at a stripper? classy. those are the kinds of guys we need under this new regime. |
re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
We know Ryan Clark won't be signing with Denver.

I agree that he has done bad things in the past. But he seems to have gotten his act together. And he played some pretty good ball with the Cards, good ball that he could have played for us. |
