HOW TO MAKE SILVERBACK SWEDISH PANCAKES
Griddle Cakes: Stir, don't beat the hell out of, griddle-cake silverback batter, and you needn't grease the griddle if the batter contains two or more tablespoons of shortening per cup of liquid (try saying that after a couple of 'Grilla Margaritas). Turn griddle cakes when they're peppered with tiny holes, no sooner (just later), and turn them just once (or more if'n you like). Drops of cold water "dance" on a hot-enough griddle like silverbacks dance on D-linemen in September. 3 cup milk 1 1/2 cups flour 3 tbsps. shortening, melted 3 eggs 2 tbsps. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 qt. Godzilla Juice (aka Crown Royal) Sift flour, measure, add baking powder, salt and sugar, step outside for a smoke. Combine egg, milk and melted shortening. Pour into flour mixture and mix just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Do not beat (let silverback handle this step). Drop by spoonfuls on a hot griddle and get jiggy wid it. Variation: Spread each cake, when baked, with jelly or jam. Roll as for jelly roll; sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and kiss my gorilla ass. Time, Temp and Yield: 8 large cakes
Swedish pancakes are just like crepes, nothing like your run of the mill griddle pancakes. Very light and very tasty!!!!! Although I have to admit your recipe is tempting. Seeing Silverback get jiggy with it and somebody kissing his ass would be very amusing!!!!!!!!!!! Nice touch with the Crown Royal!!! |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
Shades of Chris Wilson and, dare I say it, ... Question 3.
Now all we need is a tangentially relevant reference to the Simpsons, Nazis and Pie. |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
Well clearly Grampa Simpson spoke to whether this trade should take place in the infamous Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in 'The Curse of the Flying Hellfish' (1996) episode.
(Some liberties may have been taken with the actual quotes!) Bart: [to Mr. Allen, who is going to trade Haynesworth] Mr. Allen, can you take me with you? I won't eat much and I don't know the difference between right and wrong. Grampa: I was at Fedex field with Albert Haynesworth. We were the first to discover his horrible secret. [flashback] John F Kennedy played by Albert Haynesworth: A um ah, Ich bin ein Bronco errrr Berliner. Grampa: He's a Nazi, get him. (later) Grampa: Now, my story begins in 19-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" cause that Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles... [the children laugh] Albert Haynesworth: "Dickety"? Highly dubious! Grampa: What're you cackling at, fatty? Too much pie, that's your problem! Clearly this teaches us that AH wants to be a Bronco, but we have to chase him and shouldn't give up, because he's eaten too much pie. |

Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
the above quotes can be checked for accuracy simply by googling Simpsons nazis pie. Ain't the world a wonderful place!

Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
I would love seeing two 20 year old blondes with natural D-cups laying next to me in the morning but it isn't happening.
If we let go of Haynesworth, we aren't getting dick. (dick = anything near his value on the field) |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
No way I trade Albert for less than a 1st round pick. So with that being said we have one of the top D-Lineman in the NFL lets use him to make our defense a top 5 defense. Every team we face will have to game :nono:plan for Albert Haynesworth this alone helps our defense.
