Rak's career is clearly over. No one in the history of the game has recovered from a thigh bruise. We should treat Rak as the thoroughbred that he is by taking him out back and shooting him. It's the humane way.
I think we should scope it to be sure. |
I fully concur, why would we prolong the inevitable?
Can we at least put him out to stud first? Maybe euthanize him after he's provided future Redskins?
Lotus Farms is the Official Breeder of the NFL. "No officer, I am not a pimp. I am an NFL player breeder." |

"Officer, That's not my pipe under the seat...I was holding it for a friend"
Well, I guess that's not a phrase you want to hear in the "Player Breeder" game. "I'm holding it for a friend?" |

hahaha I was thinking leech therapy, again just to be sure |
Didn't you make a post recently about nervous nellies needing to chill after Thomas went down? Just askin.
Brian Orakpo>>>>>>>>than Phillip Thomas. If we were to lose Orakpo that would be huge. People were flipping over a backup safety. I'm flipped over Orakpo when all I read and assumed at the time was "Orakpo just went down in pain with a leg injury" assuming the worst that he tore his ACL. Now that its confirmed that its a bruise, no need to be scared, but it gets you nervous when a pro bowl caliber starter gets hurt with a leg injury. Big difference between an unproven 4th round backup safety or a Keenan Robinson back up LB for example. |

Discussing who the starting Safeties will be, after a promising rookie is declared out for the season -- need to chill. Thanks for the clarification |

Thanks for the clarification
To be clear ... "flipping out over an injury [BASED ON A COUPLE TWITTER FEEDS, BECAUSE YOU AREN'T ACTUALLY AT CAMP] without waiting to hear the extent" see ... that makes it a much more reasonable response. |

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
I'd be interested to know what type of conditioning we've been doing in camp, specifically to prepare for week 1? I know its just preseason, and I still don't expect this experiment to work out.. but I was left pretty impressed by the Eagles tempo last night. I think one of our biggest things week 1 will just be to not be tired as they are running that no huddle.

Re: Redskins Training Camp Thread 3.0
After Tom Brady's scare earlier this week, Mike Shannahan needs to look at RGIII and say "See that's what I'm talking about, don't ask me about playing in the Preseason anymore." RGIII just wants out there because his team is out there. He will be really "antsy" after Monday night at home on the sidelines.

see ... that makes it a much more reasonable response.
Well there's some truth to that, because where I heard it on twitter was from redskins beat reporters (mike jones, rich Campbell) who were at camp. Not some Joe Schmo skins fan. And when I refer to people freaking out over Thomas, I'm referring to twitter, radio, other message boards. Not just the wise on TheWarpath. |
