I had no idea that the Oneida Nation sponsors the Packers or has a gate at Lambeau.

The Oneida Nation folks are trying hard to turn up the heat on the name issue. They may have some success.

He was definitely impressive for his first game. I was thinking it would take him a while to become a part of the passing game. Instead it looks like he's going to be a weapon right off the bat.

because Fred is too inconsistent

Re: Washington Redskins vs Green Bay Packers Pre-Game Thread

Actually, Fred has been consistent in terms of pass catching and play-making WHEN on the field. If he's on the field, he'll produce. He looked even better this preseason too.

Of course, that's why Reed is here. Davis is only inconsistent in staying on the field, but if he's playing, he's one of the more dangerous TEs in the league.

If they both stay healthy (and out of trouble), we're going to have an incredible duo at TE, perhaps the best in the league now that Gronkowski has lost his partner in crime forever.

A recipe for success.

Maybe when they come to Landover a bunch of guys who work for moving companies will come protest the Packers too.

Moving on...

Meriweather should play...so should Jermichael Finley.

Why didn't Doughty start last game? I did not understand Biggers at safety other than his speed advantage. Having a sure tackler like Doughty probably would have been a good thing against that Eagles offense.

That's why he was in there apparently. They thought he was a better matchup speed wise for what the Eagles were doing.
