Didn't they sign Brown once before? Or am I getting senile? I'm pretty sure he was at least a camp invite at one point under Shammy. |

I don't think so |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
One name popping up a ton early is Chris Thompson...heard it again from Keim this morning doing a good job picking up a blocker in the back field. Really hope this guy can stay healthy.

he will play OLB... 263 is to small for a 3-4 end |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
a lot of ppl posting about the RB position and I am also wondering how it will shake out ..
after morris and young, i dont think we can carry all 3 of thompson, seastrunk and helu ... i look forward to seeing how it plays out and i hope injuries dont make the decision for us. |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
I noticed that Coach Gruden praised WR Cody Hoffman. This guy is no camp scrub. He holds every receiving record at BYU which is saying something. He has the size and the hands to be a true Red Zone threat.
I saw him play a few times on TV when he was in college and I was very impressed. Why wasn't he drafted? Slow 40 time? Injured? I'll be keeping an eye on him. He might just make the team. |
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
I seen the praise for Hoffman as well. I think he could earn a spot on the roster. Too early to know anything for sure, but in Keim's roster predictions today, he mentions that he doesn't think Hankerson will be ready to start the season on the active roster, and that Robinson has had a quiet camp in too many ways. Plus, Jay always talks about versatility and Hoffman offers size, like you said, something we lack at receiver.

Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
how many WRs will they keep ? even if Hankerson is on the PUP list, can Hoffman beat-out Moss, Robinson, or Grant ?
|
Re: Set it all aside -- Training Camp Begins
I'd be pretty stunned if Hoffman made the team, maybe practice squad

My guess is 6: Garcon, DJax, Roberts, Grant, Moss, and then either Robinson or Hoffman. I would say Hankerson, but I think it's doubtful he'll start the season on the active roster. |

All I remember is everyone saying RG3 was fine and ready to go. Everyone was all smiles on the sidelines during pre season, RG3 is running all around the field during warmups, then they start losing and it's "he shouldn't be on the field." Seriously they just need to let go of last year in the worst way. What's disrespectful was winning 3 games. |

If that was the case why is it that almost every fan was screaming for RG3 to come out of that Seattle game and many wanted to wait until after the bye to start him up the following season? Some of this stuff is clear as day and it's infuriating when the people at the reins can't see what is plainly obvious to regular folk. I'm more pissed about him starting the year last season, because there is no understandable "heat of the moment" excuse. Allen is throwing himself under the bus for admitting this based in his public comments. It's a troubling sign for the franchise, and all I'll say is pull your head out of your ass and do what's best for the organization next time. |
