Thinking about it today....what big time FA deal has ever worked out? By big time I mean fire up the jets and load up a dump truck with money type deal. I literally couldn't think of one. The guys who sign those deals basically can't even hope to play up to them much less outplay them like a team is hoping for.

Will Blackmon made some big time plays last year. When he stripped the Dallas RB on the 1 or 2 yard line to save a sure TD...that was flat out brilliant.

He wasn't terrible in coverage- not great, but not terrible. I would like to see him back.

I don't know if 06 Drew Brees was "fire up the jets" style big (considering he was coming off the shoulder injury) but I think [URL="http://espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2368304"]the contract[/URL] was considered big for its' day.

I heartily approve of every transaction done by the Skins so far this off-season. What a difference it is to have a [U]real[/U] GM now!

I am relieved to have Colt McCoy back in the fold. I think he is the perfect backup QB for us. Now, we pick up a developmental QB in the draft or as an UDFA and we're set at that position.
