Metro - im guessing more than 50% of the fans will take it vs driving. You lose that tailgate atmosphere though.
But anything is better than the current fed Ex. Caps and Nats games are all metro fans and, while its not 70K fans, the metro to caps and nats games have always been easy and quick for me. VA - surprisingly, one of the few states that gave me a break criminal charge wise .. twice!
Aren't you lucky. My girlfriend's two stupid sons got into a bar fight, with each other. One of them just turned 21 and had a few too many. The fight happened when the older brother tried to get the other one to leave as he was starting to cause trouble. The cops actually even piled domestic violence charges on top of everything because they were related. The judge tossed all the charges against the older one out and hit the younger one for drunk in public. Most cops I used to know would have called those guys a cab and said they don't want to hear from them again. |

Can't do that anymore people film everything nowadays.
1. Im sure Ive driven by that area on 95 a million times but dont remember it. A google view shows lots of bars, restaurants, etc and the metro right there.
from the time of crossing American Legion bridge to springfield, how long do you think it would be drive wise? 2. my girlfriend apparently was doing 86 in a 70, and she was told everything over 80 is reckless. she had to hire a local attorney ($250), pay a fine and court costs of close to $300, driving school was $60 for a day seminar.
Depends on traffic, during rush hour that could be 1-1.5hr. Not gonna sugarcoat it, the springfield interchange sees 250k vehicles a day according to VDOT. Metro would def. soak up a lot of people who don't want to deal with the traffic. Danny would be wise to do what the Nats did and create something similar to the bullpen next to it where people can pregame all day. Of course the consumer would get ripped off because you're paying ballpark prices for pregame beers. Should be right up Danny's alley though. My beef with the GSA space is it seems small once you factor in parking/etc. A lot of people would lose out on tailgating at the car if Danny built parking garages. Also duh, there's literally a sign everywhere coming into VA stating anything over 80 is reckless. My one reckless ticket (got it when I was 19, doing 90/60) just came off my record a year ago. I had to pay $480, judge didn't cut me any breaks, lesson learned. Nowadays I don't do anything faster than 80, even then my sweet spot is right at or above 75. You're playing with fire if you choose to go above 80 on any interstate highway in VA. |

Either this guy or Thad Moss will be our TE next year.

Re: Redskins General 2020 NFL Thread
Sunny, I live just south of Springfield on 95.
My conclusion is that if the stadium is going to be in Springfield, the best bet is the site of the current GSA warehouse just south of Springfield Mall. Definitely not far down 95, and within walking distance of Franconia-Springfield metro. It's right off the Beltway in the same way Fedex is. Secondly, you know I agree with you on plenty, including how much cops and troopers love to write tickets around here (I just passed a speed trap at 4:45 this morning on Route 1, luckily he sits in the same spot every time so I know better than to speed there). But you do not get a ticket for reckless for going 16 over. My last ticket (admittedly in 2010) was for going 56 in a 35, and the Fairfax County officer told me he could charge me for reckless since it was 20 over but since it was next to Five Guys HQ in Lorton (not a developed area) he just charged me for ordinary speeding. I still speed every day but I've been able to avoid speeding tickets for 10 years now by just going with the flow of traffic. If they're doing 70-80, so am I. Doing 60, so am I.
Bold move Cotton! J/K. I don't drive very fast on freeways anymore even if I'm on the road by myself. I don't care about driving fast nowadays, I just care about moving down the line. But on residential, if a light is red for no reason, I go through that 60% of the time, every time. There is a new complex by my work that is on my way home from work (similar but slightly different route to work), that literally every single signal is broken. I mean like, if I'm going straight, from the opposite side, the left hand turn light will turn green when no one is going left, while I sit there with my thumb up my ass. That took me around twice to treat that intersection as a suggestion. Eventually I'm gonna get a $500 dollar ticket for going through that light, even though its 100% justified. |

Kmet is a late first or early 2nd who is a bad blocker, not very likely. Trautman in the 3rd makes sense.... or Bryant in the 4th. |

Where I live in Central Virginia all lights are on timers, not a single one is on a sensor. I wouldn't dare run a red light around here as there are cops hiding in places you would never see them in other states. |

Famous wit Dave Barry once described the State of Maryland as "a speed trap between Delaware and Virginia". I'd say that's about right. |

I have only been in Maryland a handful of times, mostly to fetch machine shop supplies out of Baltimore. I noticed two things a lot, many of the roads in poor shape, some of it reminded me of driving in Tijuana Mexico. Another thing seemed to be areas where the posted speed limits were much lower than similar roads would be in other states. |

I am about 40 miles northwest of Richmond. I am in Caroline County, but on the edge of Spotslyvania and Hanover counties. I have ran into guys that have lived for a long time in the Richmond area and don't know where Beaverdam is. The place is famous for General Custer burning down the train station down 3 times during the civil war. |

Need to land him. Reminds me of Jermaine Gresham (OU) coming out of the draft. Would be thrilled to get him in this draft.
