Well the good thing is Jan's injury happened early in preseason so hopefully either he will return soon (or at least play in the latter part of the season) or we can pick someone up that has not been signed yet.

SKINSnCANES 08-09-2004 10:37 PM

hasselback has a 99% chance of doing the best. all he needs is positive yards..

i love sultan. he was a stud in college, easy first round pick had he not been injured.

DA Hogs 08-09-2004 10:38 PM

end of the 3RD

DA Hogs 08-09-2004 10:38 PM

i think mcants could turn into a real weapon

SKINSnCANES 08-09-2004 10:39 PM

i dont think taylor has been in since he scored. i think two pics and a bunch of stops on three drives is good enough to win him a starting job. ONE DRIVE he didnt pick the ball.

MTK 08-09-2004 10:40 PM

Taylor just moved up the depth chart pretty quick

davy 08-09-2004 10:40 PM

Done a bit of research on ruptured achilles injuries and a recovery time of about 12 weeks seems to be the best we could hope for.

DA Hogs 08-09-2004 10:40 PM

flag 22 and 23

SKINSnCANES 08-09-2004 10:41 PM

lol. if hasselback started the season id laugh my ass off.

MTK 08-09-2004 10:43 PM
Done a bit of research on ruptured achilles injuries and a recovery time of about 12 weeks seems to be the best we could hope for.
going by that maybe we can hope for a return later in the year, 12 weeks would mean he could be back sometime in October.

Gmanc711 08-09-2004 10:44 PM

If he was back in October, i'd take that in a heartbeat.

DA Hogs 08-09-2004 10:44 PM

nice punt!!!

MTK 08-09-2004 10:44 PM

this site says 6 months to a year for an achilles rupture

SKINSnCANES 08-09-2004 10:45 PM

12 weeks is enough recovery to play football, or just be normal?

im sure we'd be happy to have jansen back as soon as possible. at this point i guess im really excited to watch these rookie tackles.

Redskins8588 08-09-2004 10:45 PM

Stats - Looks like Gibbs gave each an equal oppertunity.

M. Brunell - 4/8 18 0 0

P. Ramsey - 3/8 12 0 0

davy 08-09-2004 10:46 PM

Marino missed 11 games when he ruptured his achilles.

SKINSnCANES 08-09-2004 10:46 PM

In all seriousness, he should have just as much of a chance as either one of them to start the season.
