BS,no.
I didn't get the game so all I saw was highlights,.....looking at the play all the Cardinal players pull up when he goes down on the field they don't even try to tag him down , not until he gets up and leaves the ball on the ground do they think it's a fumble. Not smart ...yes but the right call.

Even your boy Eli said that he feels they got away with that call there. Nothing wrong with getting lucky, it's just sucks for the other team.

Yeah I heard what Eli said but he couldn't see from where he was on the field. The other team never should have let it get to that point thought should they?I agree with the getting lucky thing....,very glad to hear you say that.

Nnamdi wasn't tested very often in Oakland, and part of that was his d-coordinator putting him in the right situations. Over here in the NFCE it's a little different, but either way for 12 mil a year he should be doing whatever they ask him to do. He's definitely not playing shutdown football right now. He is one of the nicest players in the league but I don't really feel bad for him because he wanted to go to the Eagles.

I really don't see how we can't run on the Eagles. And I hear Trent Cole is undergoing an MRI on his calf today.

text from ESPN said he will miss the next two games, but seems like injury estimates have been jumping the gun the past few weeks. I honestly wouldn't mind him not playing against us.

He is probably their best player on defense, from a consistency standpoint. Plays the pass and run well.

How about the 49ers and Alex Smith at 3-1??? Winning back to back road games. Down 20-3 yesterday and coming back. Pretty impressive stuff.

What in the hell were the Seahawks thinking with their QB situation?? Hasselbeck is playing some of his best ball and Tarvaus Jackson is playing like he always does.

I haven't read all of the posts, but I gotta say...

Jason Garrett better start worrying about his job status.

1. The Cowboys offensive performance vs us on MNF was one of the most disorganized, undisciplined games I've ever seen. It's the coaches job to make sure ALL of his players are ready to go, not just the 1st and 2nd recievers. Their depth is pathetic.

2. When you are up 27 - 3 yesterday. Why in the hell are you throwing up and down the field? Don't let Romo cost you the game. Run it.

Hey, I'm happy though. Keep Garrett. I think he should start worrying a little b/c his coaching has been bad.

SmootSmack 10-03-2011 02:16 PM

Re: Around the NFL week 4

They're both very capable. All I really ever said about Smith was he's had to deal with a lot of instability and about Moore that he got a bum rap with his injury last year and I don't buy that someone like Moore couldn't make a better #2 or have a higher ceiling than Beck. I respect both of them...but my QB crush remains...Chase Daniel

So anway, who here's excited for Curtis Painter on Monday Night Football!!!

Thats huge for us. Not that Babin can't do damage (7 sacks on the year) but Cole is the man thats giving QB's nightmares.

I was wondering, how the hell does a Super Bowl team improve that much in a shortened offseason. Then I realized that a lot of the guys they lost last year got healthy. This is the team people would have had to deal with if they had been healthy.

For better or worse they remind me a lot of the 2001 Rams.

After last week the Colts have gone from a boring basement dweller to a gritty team with a chip on their shoulder. They're actually kind of interesting to watch.

On a side note, does anyone want to guess how much Mark Sanchez is making this season?

Yeah after that game against Pitt, I think they'll try to lean on their D more and more. I bet tonight's game will be more exciting that people think.

And whatever Mark Sanchez is making this year, it's more than he's worth. That guy sucks. My closest friend is a Jets fan, and he's convinced Sanchez is going to be a star. Nope.
