Parcells losing after historically being 77-0 while leading in the 4th quarter - sweet!!
that is freakin awesome to be the first in 78 games to do that to a coach I loathe. man there is pretty much no way I'm getting to sleep before I have to go to work @ 7:30, but this win is well worth it. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Unbelievable. Just stunning. How great does it feel to be on the right side of a come from behind 4th quarter comeback in Dallas???? Man, I am just ecstatic. I am going nuts. Biggest skins win in years.
The first TD was nice. The second was the biggest offensive play in the 21st century. And then the D seals it up, with a big hit from Taylor. WOW! |

I sent my boys to bed in the 3rd quarter to spare them the agony. They were born during the end of the first JG era and I need to show them this. Please PM me and I will make a generous donation to The Warpath -- Thanks for the offer!! Sweet Dreams, Brothers :food-smil |

Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
God I hate Dallas......How sweet this is! just "F"ing amazing.
Taylor sure made up for getting beat with that hit! No sleep tonight. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Tears streaming down my face, give me a little plaid dress because I look like a little girl. This is what I've been praying for. Congrats everyone. I'm really glad for us all.

Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Oh there won't be any sleep. I was so worried so many doubts, gibbs, burnell, defense, streak. The Ymca in ashland(where i work) is crawling with those cowboy fans, time to play the Redskin's theme song over the intercom
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS! I'm crying right now. I don't know about you guys, but this is the greatest victory aside from our Three Superbowls I've ever seen! IN JOE GIBBS WE TRUST! BACK TO GLORY!
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Welcome, Bushead. I feel it too, y'all! Goosebumps, tears, you name it. Almost got a noise complaint from screaming in my apartment! Still BUZZZZING, yo!!!
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
As of 12:00 am this morning it became my 35th birthday. The Redskins just gave me the best birthday present I could have ever hoped for! I was sullen, then I was hopeful, then I was overjoyed.
Not only did the Skins win, but I have Moss in one of my fantasy leagues!!!!!!!!!! Look for the highlights of this game in the film room around noon tomorrow! Go Skins!!!!! |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Folks,
The Gods of the Gridiron and Lords of the Football Firmament are back. Understand all... this is the catalyst. Trust me and enjoy the rest of the season. Victory! Glorious Victory! Peace and out. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BJ! What a great gift. Kinda feel like it's all of our birthdays today.
Moss. Talk about big plays. I am in awe. |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Who needs a big WR??
Give me Moss with that speed any day!! |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
i dunno, i kinda miss Rod Gard..sorry, i can't even finish that joke.
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
I'm still amazed how it all came together. 25 yard run by brunell, big sean taylor hit, its all getting jumbled.
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Does anyone still think we need Mike Williams? And holy crap! I just realized I taped this game too! Man!! Freaking sweet.
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Man, I just can't wait to start editing this game into a highlight film. I've converted 10% into usable footage, it takes about 2 hours to complete a game. Can my adrenaline keep me up!?!?!?
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! best MNF game ever. i will never forget this ever. so much emotion this is the biggest celebration party next to winnning the superbowl.
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
Next to winning SBs, we need to beat the cowboys. How friggin sweet is this!
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
One thing I'd like to say is thanks to our new Kicker for saving a TD, it wasn't much of a takle but it was enough to save our bacon there.
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
well i think i can finally go to sleep....Goodnight guys
|
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
I'm gonna try to go to bed myself.
I'm jacked but I'm drained at the same time. 7:00 is gonna come quick, LOL, but I'll wake up with a huge smile on my face no matter how tired I may be!! |

er, not to be a buzzkill, but just convert the last half of the fourth quarter. really, what else was there? |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
It kinda of feels like we one the Super Bowl! I havn't seen Coach Gibbs smile that big since he took the job! And it was great to see him finally get drenched by the Gatorade bucket again after such a long time not getting it.
What a night! |
Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
No, see I think the problem is you just refuse to admit that Gibbs is not perfect. He made the wrong call. You can't give me one decent reason for starting Brunell over Ramsey. The numbers don't add up. I'm not saying Ramsey is great, but can you tell me why you don't start the guy that is better in every single category? Why don't you start the guy who wins just a little more often? Why don't you start the QB with a better passer rating, more yards per attempt and completion, more total yards...etc, etc, etc??? Just tell me why you choose to start the worse option of the two. Please tell me.
I mean maybe I'm way off here, but I thought the reason you play games is to win........so why not at least give yourself the best chance possible, even if that chance still isn't good? Aren't we trying to win games here?
The best chance seems to be Brunell check the scoreboard bro. |

Not much but a win is a win is a win and if my record keeping is right we're tied for first in the NFC East and Dallas and the Eagles are behind us. The Ravens won a Super Bowl with one of the worst, ugliest shitiest O's ever. Maybe the beauty of Gibbs is winning not how he's winning. |

Re: 'Skins-Cowboys Game thread 9/19/05
i didn't mean to disparage the importance of this win, just that i don't think i could bear watching any part of the first 55 minutes of that game again. save the trouble of editing it and just get that second half of the fourth quarter up for all of us to relive.

Word, I'm just so happy right now I'm still glowing and want to keep this going all week. |
I think Santana Moss is to blame, he obviously sucks and Brunell has no confidence in either him or Pattten so he doesn't throw deep.
whoops! So tell us again, how obvious is it? |
