Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
So, I found this interesting, but not about winning or losing, and/or hypocrisy, so I figured I would dredge this thread up again:
The article that goes with it is fairly unremarkable, but what I found interesting is that Trump's approval ratings at this point in his presidency line up fairly evenly with non-wartime (non-JFK) presidencies LBJ and Obama - 46 Carter & Reagan - 42 Trump - 41 Clinton - 39 I think Nixon/Ford also are their own creature given the whole Vietnam/Resignation etc. The article tried to tie some House seat effect to the president's approval ratings, but for my eyes, it generally disproves that Obama's 46 was middle high and he lost the most seats for approvals in the 40's the range was from -15 to -63. With the Republicans only having a 20'ish seat margin, historically it's unimaginable that they will keep the House. If they do, it would be a testimony to the Democrats incompetence as much as the state of the Economy |
Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
I find it amazing that a large mass of people, at Mexico's southern border, somehow is the US' responsibility.
These people have a country, a homeland, and right now, Mexico is not letting them pass. But we will hear horror stories of how the Republicans are separating kids and families, or some other bogus media narrative designed to impact this upcoming election. The democrats and media will use any emotional/historical lie to get power, and I hope that the voters see through their bs. |

Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
Also I love how an American citizen was just murdered by terrorists, and Saudi Arabia is getting a pass because they are dumping money into Trump and Kushners businesses to gain favor with them. Once again money trumps justice. Imagine if it was a Mexican gang member that murdered him? Than tough guy Trump would be up in arms. How does this happen and Trumpers are ok with it?

More conspiracy theories huh? So another case of business deals where trump is pulling all the strings? Just like the Supreme Court where the outgoing court justice son had this business deal with trump who pulled the strings...you guys are amazing. The broad stroke of “just an American citizen “ and throwing in a Mexican hypothetical....you really have no clue what’s going on and your just nodding your head to the propaganda being spewed. Shit, lets just get to the end of the narrative you want, trump had this guy killed. |

JFC are you capable at all of actually having a decent back-and-forth? Just for clarification, is there anyone here who does not believe MBS had a Saudi citizen hacked to death because he spoke up against Saudi Arabia? Is there anyone here who believes Kashoggi deserved to be hacked to death for saying Saudi citizens deserve a free press? Is there anyone here who isn't sure MBS is responsible despite the public identification of his crew travelling to the consullate? Is there anyone here who believes the currently official Saudi story that a fight got out of hand? Is there anyone here who believes Trump won't hold MBS responsible because we have enormous incentives as a country to not piss them off? Is there anyone here who believes this won't be ancient history as soon as the next scandal drops? If you have a sarcastic reply to this post fuck right off. |

Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
Is there anyone here believes he was an American citizen?
The narratives being pushed are interesting. We had a president before who allowed genocide, the slaughter of tens of thousands, allowed terrorist organization to form and dig in who then attacked Americans and inspired terrorists attacks here at home and in Europe in the same region of the world...he did nothing. Liberals supported his inaction...and were ok with genocide and being attacked by terrorists. They seemed more worried about people getting mad at Muslims. Now suddenly the saudis kill one of their own...and now they are triggered. Yeah, I’m appalled and it’s terrible but I just don’t understand the anger at the president? How is he responsible? |

At the same time the koreas are reopening shared railways in order for chinese troops to take over south korea. And trump is giving offensive weapons to ukraine so that russia will have justification to take over ukraine and estonia. Thus trump will ensure russian domination of the world forever and putin will buy a trump hotel in exchange. Can't believe you dont understand that chico. |

You need your own forum dedicated to you two verbally sucking each other off. We know Kashoggi's story by now, he was a Saudi citizen who moved to the US after SA silenced him for speaking up against them. Only people saying he was a US citizen are ill-informed. Do you know why this is important? 15 of 19. That's the number of 9/11 hijackers from Saudi Arabia. How many repercussions did SA face for their support of Al-Qaeda again? We literally went to 2 unnecessary wars because of those attacks. Meanwhile they faced NO GODDAMN PUNISHMENT for their roles because we need them. 3000 Americans dead and their families are told the country most responsible can't be held accountable. The US stepping back on this reaffirms that Saudi Arabia can enter a foreign country and brutally murder anyone and will face no repercussions from the one nation that can actually hold them accountable. It tells them they have the freedom to do whatever they want because of our reliance on them. But once again, money is more important than human life. But who's kidding who here, even if the US as a country didn't have a fantastic business relationship with SA Trump certainly does so he would never do anything to rock that boat. |
Re: When is Enough ,Enough?
So to be clear, as i understand it, saudi arabia has arrested the 15 individuals plus 3 high muckety mucks. We withdrew from a planned summit. The us un and international agencies are continuing the investigation in cooperation with turkey, but trump didnt utter some magic words against the one known reformer within saudi's system so ...
Serious question What step would be appropriate punishment/deterrence? |

https://www.cnbc.com/2017/05/20/us-saudi-arabia-seal-weapons-deal-worth-nearly-110-billion-as-trump-begins-visit.html
Why? You have to remember dmek, when Obama sent a state sponsor of Terror Iran this: https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-tally-of-iran-sanctions-relief-includes-more-than-10-billion-in-cash-gold-1483112751 A Tally of Iran Sanctions Relief Includes More Than $10 Billion in Cash, Gold This money helped finance the Houthi takeover In Yemen ...Iran financed, armed and trained them too. The obama adminstration admitted it. They brought a civil war to Saudi Arabia door where then the houthis attacked the country. Saudi Arabia has been a staunch ally in the Middle East against terror, isis and Iran elements across the region. |
