Yeah, I mean here are the Cowboys on their way to a victory that would not only be their first EVER in historic Lambeau Field, but also put his team at 3-0, and he just looks dejected and pissed off. Why TO? Poor little TO upset to see Miles Austin catch two long balls? As great as he is on the field, he is a total ass. |

[quote=jsarno;479984]I call BS.
Put Owens on the Rams, or Miami, and he will disappear. Well minus the crying and bitching to get him the ball, or trade him to a good team. Moss had to suffer on one of the worst teams in the NFL in oakland. Here is who Owens had throwing the majority of the passes to him over the years. Steve Young (hall of famer) Elvis Grbac (pro bowler without TO fyi) Jeff Garcia (4 time pro bowler) Donovan McNabb (5 time pro bowler, possible HOFer when career is over) Drew Bledsoe (4 time pro bowler and possible HOFer) Tony Romo Here is who Moss had throwing to him: Randall Cunningham Brad Johnson Jeff George Dante Culpepper Kerry Collins Andrew Walter Aaron Brooks Tom Brady (only 1 season mind you) Matt Cassel Which list would you rather have to this point? Keep in mind you'd only get Brady for 1 season. ps- there have been several comments about Moss's polished route running. He is a complete WR. Also, Moss has 126 TD's and Owens has 134 tds...only 8 different, yet Owens is 4 years older. Miles Austin last night). TO makes the QB look better which is why he's the greatest. And for the record Pro Bowls are not valid method of evaluating talent (you sound like a Dallas fan). You ask any DB in the league who they'd rather face, guarantee you TO would be the last...he embarasses Champ for gods sake... |

Yeah no doubt. It was an amazing recovery from an ugly injury, but his sole motivation was to run his mouth and parade his antics on the biggest of stages. I can't recall an athlete in recent memory I loathe like TO... OH WAIT! Another Cowboys receiver- that whore-monger coke head Michael Irvin... |

Dude, YOURE coming off as stupid. Youre suggesting that Steve Young, Donovan McNabb and Tony Romo were average quaterbacks untill TO came along....WOW. Not to mention he threw half of these guys under the bus. |

Ahhh, not so fast. Charles Woodson did a great job locking down TO last night despite having a broken toe. Look, no one here is debating TO greatness on the field. But show me a wide receiver who consistently puts up big numbers without a good if not great QB? There's an obvious, direct correlation between good quaterback play and productive receivers. And on Miles Austin's TD grab he was far from "unaccounted for." He was tightly covered and made a great catch. Plus Al Harris and Atari Bigby were both injured, so that side of the field was being covered by backups. I would say QB's make WR's look better far more often than vice versa. More often than not big time catches are only made possible because of big time throws. Which comes first? |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
You can keep playing the numbers game all day but be for real...if you were playing a pick-up game would you pick Randy before TO?????

lol...yeah...good luck with that team...and once Randy realizes that the game is out or reach he'll start walking off the field...On a serious note I hate Dallas just as much as everyone else here but you have to give credit where its due...I'm sensing that if TO played for another team you'd be agreeing with me...Do you also think that Art Monk was a better WR than Michael Irvin? |

I never make an argument on a guy based on production/numbers alone. I have seen enough of TO to know that he is a gamebreaker. HOWEVER the argument I made was that, in my opinion he is not the greatest wide reciever ever because he drops way too many passes. You called out jsarno saying he sounded like a dallas fan when your the one making this rediculous argument. He backed it up with a completely legitimate and well thought out post and all you have to say is "If TO were on a different team..." |

I sure hope I'm wrong and TO drops a couple of big passes on Sunday...why stop there I hope he drops every pass thrown his way...I will bow to you and jsarno while addmiting that I was wrong |

Sometimes it's not worth making the argument that will fall on deaf ears. Problem is, he is being shown facts, but he would rather believe his opinion. When he said I was sounding stupid, I think we all saw it was him, except of course, himself. It's no big deal. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. I have already stated that Owens is an elite WR, but unless I say he is the best ever, this guy will try to insult. LOL. His comments should be laughed at, not responded to. |

Re: Cowboys Wk 4
I guess if you keep talking about how great you are, eventually some people are going to believe it.
