Not in my plan obviously, but an acceptable solution if he slips since we have two thirds and he is probably a second round talent. |

On tape he throws a good ball, arm strength is fine. I think he’s a sleeper |
Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?
When I see Bruce Allen at Haskins pro day I cringe. He is a guy that could come here and sell tickets since he's a local kid. And apparently he's friends w/ Snyder's kid as they went to the same private school. I could easily see Bruce pissing away draft picks to move up.
Yeah but the Skins were set to take Kerryon Johnson before the Lions jumped ahead to take him
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They obviously had Kerryon rated higher (i think everyone did), but probably had no idea either RB would fall that low. I remember being quite surprised to see both fall. |

Adam Shefter just tweeted that the Redskins have scheduled a private visit with Wil Greir. But there are 3 other teams (including the G-Men) that has also scheduled visits with Grier. |
Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?
This is from a Vikings board, just reminded me of the exchanges on this site (change names appropriately)
Spielman has done a good job building the team in general, but there has been 2 spots he really struggles in the oline and qb. He has done a terrible job with the oline since he has been gm. He almost completely ignores it and traditionally doesn’t like investing great value in it. The problem is the oline is essentially the tool of which the offense success starts and ends with. All the consistently successful teams either have an elite qb (top 3 in nfl) or above average to good qb and good oline. You have that and you don’t require great skill players (although they help). I still think the old philosophy holds true in that the success of a football teams starts with the oline and dline. If you are strong in the trenches you are going to have a good team. Thanks for the scary news. The friends with Snyder's kid part could be major trouble. All we need is another RG3 situation where the QB gets special privileges that upset team chemistry. |

Rosen, Haskins , Grier , Lock. One of these guys and I'm happy
Agreed. Didn't study any of these guys in depth, but I'm always a believer that having an at least decent rookie QB allows you to build a good team around him because you're saving cap space on his rookie contract. So as long as they don't break the bank in any kind of trade, I'll be fine with it. |

Agreed. They weren’t even at the high school at the same time. Haskins is almost 22 and Snyder’s son is 17.... how many 22 year guys in college are friends with high schoolers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
