I know I'm in the minority, but I like Tim Tebow. Maybe it is more of Tim Tebow the person, but I really do want the kid to succeed.

Let me just repeat that I was only kidding around. Redskins have no interest in Tebow

I want Tebow for Team Chaplin, but that's not a roster spot. I love it how there is so much hate for Tebow because he can't play QB, but so much love for this Jason Collins because he said he was Gay. Jason Collins has never done much on a basketball court either. Who would you rather hang out with? Tebow or Collins? Maybe Tebow can't play QB, so what, he is a great human being. I could care less about Jason Collins or the support he is getting. Our world is so messed up right now.

Can we stop with the dramatics of saying people "hate" Tebow?

A lot of people just don't think he's cut out to play QB in the NFL.

Comparing his situation with that of a gay basketball player coming out is frankly retarded.

Exactly as a football player Tebow sucks on the NFL level. End of story.

Agreed, Tebow sucks as an NFL QB. So why does he get so much press?
Someone answer that question honestly. Compare your answer to why no one is talking about a guy like Vince Young not catching on with another team. I'm just saying, there is some reason why the media keeps talking about Tebow and I want to know the real reason.

I've got them rated equally right now. It's so bad with the Tim Tebow thing, if he did join the Skins, I'd stop watching football until he was gone. It's been one huge circus since he has been drafted and the media hasn't let up yet. I've never seen anybody get as much press, who's done so little.

Yes they will. I think once Gomes gets cut, Amerson will pick up 24 (or if Royster gets cut 22 is another possibility). Also 48 is a possibility with Bernstein being a huge question mark. I find it hard to believe that Phillip Thomas will change from 41, especially since the past people to wear that number (Madieu Williams, Kareem Moore, Matt Bowen)

He is no different than any other Joe Blow that can't play QB well in the NFL.

He's won a playoff game. So maybe he's at least on the same level as Tony Romo in that respect, lol!

I have to admit, those games that he won in Denver were pretty exciting to watch. He knows how to win ballgames in dramatic fashion. I think under the right QB coach, he'd probably go on to have a pretty decent career in the NFL, but it's fashionable to not like Tebow as a quarterback.

He's had 2 QB "throwing" coaches already, and he's still not improved. Fact is, he's not accurate, his throwing motion is horrible, and he's simply not cut out to be a NFL QB. Great college QB, but it's a different game with different athletes.

Both. Tebow is a cool dude. Collins is a cool dude.

Both are terrible players (Tebow at QB, respectively. He's a good athelete though) and currently jobless.

You can't dog either guy's character, they seem like good dudes but they are both pretty lackluster at their jobs.

You're comparing apples to oranges though when you compare the hate Tebow gets for being a bad QB to Collins being gay. That has nothing to do with his ability as a basketball player. I don't like Collins because he's a bench warmer.

With tebow talk and redskins name change talk I just wanna blow my offseason brains out. C'mon guys we just drafted a bunch of promising and interesting rookies. You all have no other thoughts on the guys on our team or even still employed in the NFL? You would rather talk about tebow who is currently unemployed?? Seriously? It's the kinds of people here who continue to talk about tebow that's the problem with ESPN (& NFLN) with why they talk about him so much. People like you who care and continue to talk him.

well thats why I said that he's needs to change that ugly number, because Madieu Williams, Kareem Moore, and Matt Bowen all wore that number.

42 Is good. Like Matty said thats Ronny Lotts number. Also was Darren Sharpers number.

43 is also a good number with Polamalu wearing it.

44 NOT HAPPENING (Riggo)

45 Ugly number and Mike Sellers wears it

46 Alfred has something to say about that

47 John Lynch did a damn good job in this league. But Cooley fans will go bonkers over it.

48 Bernstein Bear has it now, but if he's cut thats a better number than 41

49 ehh better than 41 but I think 49 is retired for Bobby Mitchell.
