I agree

TH is the only thing that angers me but it’s who we have for now, ugh

I hated the play calling on our first OT possession. I knew the Giants was gonna stack the box once we picked up our initial first down. We were slightly across the 50 and they was gonna sell out to deny us on the ground. Get creative. 15 more yards and we're in FG range.

You're Mr. Even Steven. That's a compliment just to clarify. Nothing ever seems to bug you. And you're always polite as fuck.

I don’t think there is A OC on earth that could get anymore out of TH then we are

TH is just not a starting caliber nfl qb ; plain and simple

Only thing that make him better is a growth spurt , I am guessing he is done with puberty at this point

I get mad at the team a lot but I've learned that bitching doesn't help lol Drink a beer and see what they can do week to week. If we had a legit QB1 they would compete for a SB with this DL. Eventually TH will have that 2 int game again that will cost us

Anything is possible, they beat the best team at their turf and today many of you were going crazy that we would lose another one. I'm just worried about the Larsen and Cosmi injuries, we should be getting some of our key players after the bye.

We need CY back and to make an impact, we lack that domiant edge guy like Dallas has.

That no call on the helmet being ripped off was ridiculous as were a few others. Refs were really annoying today. Wish we came away with the win but... we DIDNT ... take the L and that's alright with me

The refs sucked today and have for years, these new breed of refs are terrible.
Does Heinicke has the arm strength of Hurts, Mariotta, or Daniel Jones? Nope. But he has more than enough athleticism to even periodically use him on RPO action. Make the defense honor him. One hesitation or false step by the end, backers, and/or safeties can result in reasonable to sizeable yardage.

Stop trying to routinely fancy him as some sort of drop back passer. Drop him him back periodically to keep the defense honest, but mix it up and allow Heinicke to use his legs.
You can't drop back your QB periodically in the NFL. Can't hide your Qb. Could they use his legs more? I do think Scott could put in a few more waggles and boots and some more RO.

W/ Taylor I also think Scott could go back and put in some pure WCO plays w/ misdirection, play action and so forth. Some of those old Bill Walsh plays would work well w/ a weak armed QB. That stuff is dead now, but now sure why.

I honestly think they either bet on the games or just have such huge egos that they want to be seen on TV. I just can't seem to get a grasp on some of the absolute shit they call- on both sides. It just ruins the fucking quality of the game. Idk of any crews that actually let em play. All this ticky tack shit just waters down an already watered down league.

That no call on the PI was awful! That's a first and goal. Then the block in the back was laughable

That 4th down plays was just a thing of beauty. If we don't pick that up then the game is over.

He makes some good plays and then he throws some dying ducks that makes you wonder why he is on an NFL field.

What gets me is Taylor has all the intangibles you can’t “teach”. The overthrows, ball sailing should be something he can fix … I’m not sure why it can’t be corrected.

Straight drop backs? Sure, you can do it periodically, as long as you're mixing in roll outs, boots/waggles, and RPO.

Turner doesn't have the insight to install those things and neither an offense which resembles a WCO (which I have pondered to myself several days ago).

The referees were absolutely in the Giants pocket. And that fat fuck Dabol still cried like someone stole his tall stack of pancakes.

My point was on 3rd down and 7 you can't do that stuff.

He is who he is at this point. He just can't drive the ball. He is especially bad at throwing over the middle.

I agree with this. Turner has done a solid job of maximizing what TH does well with what was already in the confines of the playbook. Most teams have a bqack up that fits the mold of their starter, we don't. Our playbook has basically been set up for QBs like Fitzpatrick and Wentz not a mobile QB. You can't ask 10 other guys to change the months of studying the playbook to hastily learn a new playbook to fit the needs of a mediocre QB.

I feel like the offense is better from the goal line to the redzone, but once we get inside the redzone it really just isn't very pretty.

Because TH doesn't have the arm to get a fastball into a tight window. We probably have a ton of goal to go plays we can't run with him.

And i agree with designed runs for him. Not so much RPO as I think he's no experience running it, but designed runs like a QB draw would help give pass rusher pause.

Thing is Turner rarely does some of those things and doesn't do the others at all it seems.

I really hope BSJ is back after the bye. Not only was Holmes badly exposed in the secondary, but we also missed his tackling. St. Juste has become a good and willing tackler, and not having him yesterday probably allowed for some of the Giants' runs to extend. Having Chase will be helpful too, but I actually think BSJ is more impactful for our D at the moment, especially given that the D line is playing so well.

Holmes was getting exposed yesterday, he ain't ready for the big time yet.
