I honestly hope TW sticks it to BA and DS. This shit has to hit rock bottom before we start back up imo. I am on the Meks bandwagon burn it down.

How so, by losing millions in salary. And what BA says is nothing more than a ploy for a better trade offer.... he is not giving away Trent.

Trade some of the older players that are not performing up to their contracts. Josh Norman, Ryan Kerrigan, Jordan Reed, Trent Williams, Vernon Davis, and AP etc.

TW could stick it to the DS/BA by:

- Actually saying something.

- Showing up, take their money, and be a malcontent in the locker room.

The only people he is sticking it to are his teammates and the fans by staying away and saying nothing.

Better than the 1 they are offered? I will be shocked if that happens. Waiting till January won’t improve his trade value

The only team “confirmed” to have offered a 1 was the patriots - and their 1 will almost certainly be pick 31 or 32. That’s just not enough.

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal

For a team that doesn't have a 2nd round pick, is going through a rebuild and the player won't play for them anyway the 31st or 32nd pick is more than enough. Trent is 31 at this point, has missed games in the last few years and we haven't gone anywhere with him. As much as I would hate seeing him go. It is more than enough for him.,

Exactly. Trent isn't going to be around in 3 years, we need to get what we can now.
This isn't a one year rebuild.

If we are being offered a 1 at the beginning of the year what would the value be in January after he say a year? Maybe I am naive but I would think the value would go down. Especially in the last year of a contract.

I am sure there will be a long line of teams looking for overpaid and underperforming players.

I was just reading an article about Snyder and Allen’s handling of the team and it referred to them like this....”The pair’s utter buffoonery”..........LMFAO!!

Only two of those you mentioned have any trade value, Ryan and Trent and that value is sinking by the day.

Add Paul Richardson to the list of players to let go.
