Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Dont worry guys, we're sending our 1st to NE for their 2 1st and a 2nd. Then sending that package plus our 2nd in 2012 and our 1st in 2013 for Indie's #1.
So 3 firsts and 2 second rounders for Luck.
Sweet! |

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Shanny has done a very good job making this team younger and better at a bunch of positions ince he took this job. His stubbornness at the QB position will be his downfall here I am afraid. He needs to get us a franchise QB, I do not care how, who or where he gets him. JUST DO IT!!!!

It's all a cover-up for our real issue: windy day kickoff holder. |

more ifs and uncertainty about manning's health. let me pose this question: if he can't throw the ball like an nfl qb in 6 months, would you want the redskins to sign him?

Personally I'm a fan of a backup QB holding in case there is a bad delivery the QB. An pass it, or for fakes. What is a Punter going to do on a muffed delivery? Punt? |
Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
you can't throw a forward pass on a kickoff

Maybe I'm miss understood. I presumed someone was refering to the Skins taking a holder for field goals because of some of our bad snaps and bad holds for the kicker this year. I apologize for miss understanding that someone wanted a kick off holder for windy days. < can't we pick one of those up late in the draft or are they a dying breed and we should go after one in the first round cause I too definitely don't want to miss out. |

This is a moot question. It's reported today on the NFL network improving. But to answer your hypothetical question I'd want to know from PM if he was not able to play would he consider staying on and assisting with coaching in some capacity? If he would and would give your team first crack at a contract then it's a win win and you go out and pick up a really good Rookie QB who can either learn behind PM or could be coached up by PM. |

He's not going to just out of pads and right into a clip board. There is a big difference between being a player and being a coach. There is a progressive process. You normally start out as a quality control guy, move up to an assistant position coach, and go from there. I realize Peyton Manning is an amazing student of the game but it just doesn't work that way. |
