Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Bruce could have had a 1st and more more from Houston, now we’re happy to get a second from the browns. BA AGAIN PROVING why he is the absolute WORST GM in the nfl!

Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
We should also be trying to trade others FOR DRAFT PICKS, who will leave next season or are past their prime:
Norman Richardson Alex Smith (if he ever plays again) Jordan Reed ( “. “. “) Kerrington Scherff Moses Give the new HC Something to work with in the draft. Also give the new HC FULL CONTROL OF THE GM position. BA moves to nominal control of stadium replacement - ONLY!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You keep Scherff, the others on the list can go now. |

If you were Schreff, why would you sign here? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
Scherff is not going to resign for the redskins. He’s not in negotiations anymore. Why stay? The Redskins offered him a modest pay increase contract. Scherff can go elsewhere and:
1. Get a bigger contract 2. Play for potentially winning team 3. Play for a team that is better coached, better managed and has far less chaos and more stability. of course the redskins can franchise tag him but the result will still be the same as Cousins. No I’m not smoking anything, but it’s time to face facts regarding Scherff. He will not be a redskins next year. Except for Kerrigan the redskins have a poor record for retaining their best players. Call it the “Bruce Allen effect”. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Trent Williams holding out for new deal
"Here's what I'd say on Redskins OT Trent Williams' trade value -- asking price isn't high, because there really hasn't been an asking price. Teams I've spoken with that inquired have been stonewalled, told he's not available.
Maybe that changes over the next 13 days. We'll see." Ben Albright NFLN |

There was an article awhile ago that said as much. I imagine googling scherff cba would find it. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

If I were Scherff, or any other player on his rookie contract worth anything, I would do my job, serve my time, and work towards free agency. If the skins want to compete with the open market and pay me more than anyone else - sure, I'd consider staying. But money being even, I'd go just about anywhere else. And if the money is actually better elsewhere, why on earth would I want to stay here? |
Keim didn't say the rumors weren't true. He talked to "people at the redskins" who said "not to their knowledge."
Shanahan didn't know about the RG3 trade until it happened. Doug Williams and Jay Gruden didn't know about the Alex Smith trade until it happened. Doug Williams and Jay Gruden didn't know about the Kenum trade until it happened. "People at the redskins" don't know about trades until they happen. This is how Bruce operates.
Do you mean McNabb? Shanny was well aware they were going for RG3 |
