Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
That's exactly what Mr. Snake wants you to think.
2:00am some morning and you'll have a reptile looking for a warm body. |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
Burn that house down.

This would grind, somewhat:

On the flight back she developed excruciating headaches, face pain, started hearing noises in her head and fluid then leaked from her ear. Went to A&E where doctors thought she had a minor ear infection, but closer inspection revealed a New World Army Screw Worm fly had laid eggs in her ear which had burrowed 12mm into ear canal. Luckily they had not spread to brain or near any major blood vessels Surgeons removed the flesh-eating creatures and Rochelle made a full recovery[/I] |

Chico, I'm with Okie. Mr. Serpent probably liked chillin' in your crib while you were gone but your return convinced him to leave the way he arrived. |

I didn't even click the link, but started laughing at the title. I feel for Chico. I'm not sure I could sleep right now. Chico, I recommend going and purchasing quite a few statues of St. Patrick since he drove all the snakes out of Ireland, maybe he can do so for your home! ;) |
Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
One night when I went to walk my dog I came back in and felt something on my neck I thought it was a Japaneses Beetle but then I felt the pinch of like a crab. I reached back to pull it off and it was 3/4 the length of my pinkie. I screamed like a girl scout.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?
There are snake traps which you can get from hardware stores which are basically sticky traps. A snake gets stuck slithering across. If you put a couple down, within a couple of days you should have either a captive snake or the peace of mind that the snake is gone.

:) Maybe you could put the traps under a chair, bed, or some place like that where a snake would go but a lab would not. |

I'm picturing Chico reaching under his couch, or one of those hard-to-reach places to plant a trap just as Senor Slither wakes from a two day snooze, all hungry. |
