Why havent we set up a visit with former Ravens OT Adam Terry? 6'8" 330 only 27 years old. His arms are a lil on the short side so he's more suited to play RT but last time i checked who we currently have there, its shakey AT BEST! i think he would be an immediate upgrade over Heyer and Williams. Would also let us be more flexible in the draft.
Restricted Free Agent. Drafted in the same year as Campbell. Edit: Never mind.
Ravens | A. Terry not tendered Thu, 04 Mar 2010 23:07:18 -0800 Adam Caplan, of Scout.com, reports Baltimore Ravens OT Adam Terry was not tendered an offer, according to a league source. Terry is now an unrestricted free agent.
Former second round pick though he "must have been released for a reason." Lol. Of course when I stop to think about it those reasons are Oher and Gaither. |
Marcus Mason was picked up by the Chargers.
Yeah I was surprised nobody really replied after I mentioned that. |
Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Right, that's what was surprising. He's currently holding LT's roster spot. Never thought I'd see the day.
Weren't the Chargers the other team that tried to claim him after last year but we got him because we had the worse record? |

Cant blame a team who doesnt retain a player cuz they already invested alot in their current starters. I dont think he was fit for their power running game. But in a Zone blocking scheme? when his main attribute is his athleticism for a big man. He could live up to his 2nd round pick. Which would give us some more leeway with THIS years current 2nd so we dont hafta go OL in the first, OL in the second, we could grab a NT, CB, RB, or FS. He'd be an improvement over Heyer and has starting experience at both Tackle and Guard. I would see him starting at RT here with Okung at LT. Im hoping he leaves Indianapolis without a contract, but i doubt that happening |

Did anyone else see that the Redskins apparently made an offer to Kevin Faulk, according to his agent? Thought that was interesting.

He'll be 34 in June. Seems a little odd we'd offer him a contract. Oh well, I guess they have something in mind for him. |

Yeah I thought that was interesting too. Did he even come in for a visit? Damn this new front office is great at keeping the lid on things. |

Washington spending again (just not the way people thought). Redskins signed former Chiefs tight end Sean Ryan to a one-year contract. any thoughts? edit: Sean Ryan (American football) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 6 teams in 6 years, he was at KC last year, isn't that where our new TE Coach is from? |

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
he has to be a blocking tight end, right?

I think it was more effective when Portis was texting his approval to the powers that be and they took that information and announced it on thier radio spots. |

More competition at the TE position. What's the status of Todd Yoder? |

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Ugh, all these OLD RB's are making me a little nervous..........is anybody else a little baffled? This just isnt par for the course for Shanahan really......

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Shanny is going to draft some back with lots of speed out of the mid round.
