thats what the guilty do...aaron hernandez style, destroying cells phones. Im sure they have a drill for that in training camp...the patriot way.

Dont care what anybody says...spy gate, deflategate, and player killing someone, possibly others. Patriots championships are tainted.
That's what jealous fans say .

I'm guessing he had much more to hide than just the deflate gate BS.

Brady thought he was above it all due to his legacy and Goodell said "not in my house bitch". One thing Goodell has said before is that lying would always make the punishment worse. I support this suspension due to the circumstances.

Re: All things off season 2015.

I want to chime in on the Deflategate thing. Big picture perspective first, I don't think the footballs being deflated 1/2 lb or 1 lb of pressure or whatever they were had much of an affect if any on the game the Patriots played against the Colts, cause it was a blowout and they could have played with a Nerf football and it wouldn't have mattered. The issue it raises with me is how many other times, the balls may have been under inflated in the past in a cold/wet game when the game was close. Turnovers are a big deal in win/loses and a soft football helps keep that from happening. So there is a question in my mind of the past more than that specific game. Second, I don't think there is anything on my cell phone I am ashamed of, so turning mine over as "evidence" would be OK with me to keep from losing 4 games and millions of dollars. The fact that Brady destroyed his is an admission of guilt to me, much like using fake pee for a urine drug test. I sure that really rubbed Goodell the wrong way and why he stuck to his guns.

Tom Brady is a great QB, but this manipulating the rules by him and the Patriots or otherwise trying to get an advantage is just getting old.

Once again, the cover up is worse than the crime. Brady and the Pats look pretty damn dumb...again

Re: All things off season 2015.

It really is hard to "prove" anything at hearings / trials, etc. There is a natural bias among the public (which I generally applaud) towards "innocent until shown guilty." When a person accused of something is shown destroying things that any reasonable person would say "Well, that would have been helpful," I have NO problem with (1) presuming the destroyed evidence showed guilt; and (2) severely punishing people for intentionally obstructing investigations even if the underlying violation is minor because they are attacking / undermining the ability of authority to punish actual wrong doers; thus, they injure everyone else in that system.

Deflategate was a mountain out of a molehill. Brady destroying a cellphone was a clear obstruction - I would have suspended him for that alone and, probably, for more than four games.

With that said, Brady will be filing his federal court appeal in 5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ...

Don't mix the two up .yup they have been caught ,I've never said anything else .Yet if you still don't think the Bill Belichick and Tom Brady aren't the best coach / OB combination then you're crazy .To me Brady should have come on out and said yup I did it ....so what ? It's funny to hear people call them cheaters and such because if you know anything about football you know Belichick pushes the edge as far as he can and if I'm a player I like that and that's what I want my coach to do ,fans from other teams might cry but players love him and all want to play for him .As for Brady he has every right to be who ever he wants to be ,what he is to me is rich , young and good looking ,smart and married to a super model who herself is rich as shit , he is a guaranteed HOF first ballot and he still might have another super bowl left in him ,who knows ?

He didn't get four games for the footballs, he and the patriots got a max sentence for the same old shit they always do... Lie and cover up.

Everyone keeps saying he got four games for deflating footballs and well that isn't the case or the crime. The league isn't taking away #1 picks for a few psi in a football, but they will for the cover up.

Giantone I don't care who what Brady has or anyone for that matter. These guys cheat and lie....fact fact fact. They also carry themselve with no class and a smugness that is fuck you to every body. And when they get caught red handed they never own up and make up bullshit. I can't respect that. And roger Kraft, I'm done. That little speech was utter bs.

Fuck them seriously. U wanna suck their dicks and kiss their rings go ahead. I could careless. Of course belicheat and Brady are a hof tandem...but have zero class and I have zero respect.

To add to this, I'm sick and tired of football analysts and fans saying that deflating the footballs was not a big deal and didn't affect the outcome of the game...

So then why the f*ck do it in the first place and go through ridiculous lengths to cover it up?

I'm glad Goodell is sticking it to the Pats and Brady. They could have easily avoided all of this by a.) not cheating or b.) admitting it (since they think it is not a big deal).
