Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
Wow! What a waste of a season it will be if they lose in the first round of the playoffs
|
Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
I am stunned at what am I seeing. Loving it though. What a fake MVP Dirk is. Wade sure was right about him.
Romogate and the biggest choke in NBA history in one season for my least favorite place. That would put a smile on my face. |
Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
i think it is awesome. f... everything in dallas.

Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination

Nowtiski is all world regular season but it is becoming increasingly difficult to defend his ability to perform under pressure, which is essentially what Wade said. |
Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
I love seeing top teams fall, unless they're my team.
The Bulls will win the East. :) Bulls and Suns in the Finals, I predict. |
Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
Nothing better than the look on Cubans face whenever Dallas loses. I can't stand that guy...
|
Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
Cuban's a good guy and good owner. He's done everything that any Mavericks fan could ask of him. His players (Dirk Nowitzki I'm looking in your direction) need to seriously step it up.

Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
I don't like Dirk. He's a choker. I don't like the way he plays, he's 7 feet for no reason and he passes on big shots all the time. I'm not even sure he's the MVP of that team let alone the league. Howard and Terry are both guys they couldn't win without. Dirk is overrated. I'm loving seeing them get run off the court by a bunch of guards.

Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
Man, what a choke job. A #1 seed that won 67 games gets bounced by a 42 win 8th seed??!! Cuban is probably in the fetal position somewhere sucking his thumb.

Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
I couldn't believe it as I was watching the final quarter. Unreal!

Bill Simmons is spot on, but I guess you could say the same thing pretty much happened to LT and San Diego this past season. |
Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
HA HA! I love to see that. I only caught the last few minutes of the game, it's difficult to describe that kind of elation. Dirk with 8 points in a loss to a team that didn't get into the playoffs until the final night of the season. Seriously, MVP? Are you kidding? He didn't show up in the playoffs and they wouldn't have won 67 games without Josh Howard or Jason Terry!

Re: Mavericks on the Brink of Elimination
I agree about the Chargers comparison to a point, but let's face it the NBA regular season is pretty worthless. Winning 14 games in the NFL regular season is still a pretty tough thing to accomplish.

I don't really see the Chargers comparison. I mean didn't they lose to the Patriots? That'd be like the Mavs losing to the Spurs Plus, that's one game. Anyone can lose one game. Over a 7 game series the better team should win. |
