Steelers GM
Did anybody see the Steelers tonight?
Lordy be they are stocked with talent. They pick in the bottom of the first round but yet they come up with gems. Can we lure their GM? |

Re: Steelers GM
maybe a personnel director or something, prob not their GM

Re: Steelers GM
Just so every one knows. Pittsburg does not pick Olinemen in the early rounds. They never pick an offensive lineman, before the third round.

They do something with their linemen that we do not: COACH THEM. |

I was worried that Vinny was watching the game going "See, see! I knew I didn't need to draft linemen!"

I thought Pittsburgh didn't have a good offensive line? |

Yeah , but Vinny never picks Oline altogether. They pick one to three every draft. There line is constnatly getting better, they are young and are very good run blockers. |

Steeler Guards Chris Kemoeatu and Trial Essex had a monster game. Along with big run blocking TE's Heath Miller and Matt Spaeth, they were putting on a run clinic 10 yards at a time last night. On a couple of those cool counter plays, they looked like the Redskins of old, but with a new wrinkle. A guard pulling followed by a big TE, instead of the redskins counter trey of a G and T. RT Willie Colon and LT Max Starks also looked strong. With big and young RB Rashard Mendenhall running hard. I laughed hard when old WR Hines Ward hurdled Champ Bailey's tackle attempt and scored a TD. Champ was humiliated. Steelers are peaking and looking like the strongest team at the moment. |

They really dont but because they don't have BUM ASS JC, they actually can make plays downfield and put up pts. |
Re: Steelers GM
they don't have a big name O-line but just like Snyder, fans need to realize that big names and good performance do not necessarily go hand in hand

There's a difference between having a no name line and a bad offensive line. The Steelers have a bad offensive line, but they have an elite game-changing defense, a very good QB, two quality receivers, and now they have a young bruising RB that runs well on a bad o-line. |

Re: Steelers GM
Their offensive line is bad but I don't think you can compare the ineptitude of our line to that line. That line went to the superbowl...you can't have a 'bad' offensive line and go to the super bowl. If anything it is an average line, still way better than ours.
