If he's staying there for it, its completely fine by me. I hope the event is successful and everyone is careful on their bike...

I for one will not hold it against him, in times like these you need to be around family.

thats really good of them to do, while people may pass judgement on his brother they will stand up for him and honor what he loved. i think thats pretty cool. sucks for us cause fat al was looking good last weekend, i was lookin forward to watch him come into his own, finally.

AH-we wish your family strength and support. With all due respect I dont understand motorcycle culture. If he had died of a heart attack would they be eating fried chicken and other potentially poor choice foods? why would a bike ride be honorable? I just dont get it.

some people don't. it really is a brotherhood among all riders. you don't really get it until you start riding, i've been riding for a few years now, sportbike and harley, there is just a comon respect among everyone on two wheels.

Some people ride bikes because thats what they loved to do, like some people fly airplanes . Even though Motorcycles can be dangerous when you love something you understand the risk factor but your love is stronger.

Not really a good analogy.

I don't ride but I have friends that do. Bikers are a tight knit community. It's a big social thing to get together and ride. They have rides for causes and charities all the time too.

I hear all that, I used to drive a jeep and we'd waive to other jeep drivers. After I made the post I felt guilty for even saying it but if it was my family I was just thinking a bike ride would be a reminder of how he died and add onto more pain. I am not in his shoes and I wish his family peace and prayers to stay strong.

Per Adam S.:

Daniel Snyder loaned his private plane to Albert Haynesworth so he and his family could return to Tennessee for death of his brother.

This is a way to mend those fences.
