Two questions came to mind when I saw that clip; 1) Why did he stick his arm out? Didn't anyone teach him to roll if going down like that? Protect yourself, you're not a fullback! And 2) why was he still in the game at that point? We were never scoring 24 points with less than 1/2 a quarter to go.

Having played football in high school, I understand the mentality of at least keeping up the appearance that you're still trying to win the game.

What I DON'T understand is why Dan Quinn or Kliff Kingsberry still had Jayden Daniels calling Quarterback running plays...all night long my Father-In-Law and I were saying that if the Washington Commanders Coaches kept having Jayden Daniels run on designed scrambles, he was going to get hurt!

And Yes [emoji106] I do agree that this season is Over!

Keep him out until we get smarter people in place around him. Man what a difference a year makes. [emoji1750]

I think we have to assess whether Jayden is going to have that 10-15 year career or is it going to be much shorter and under 10 years. Especially with us having to pay him in 2 years. I honestly think Jayden isn’t going to have a long career. Think a run in length similar to Andrew Luck’s run.

In the 2027 draft in the lower rounds, I’d draft a qb to groom as our backup and potential Jayden replacement; if his career is short.

Adam S said this morning that its not as bad as they thought but still he needs to sit the rest of the season. Lose out and get a top 5 pick

Could have been a lot worse that’s for sure

It is actually unbelievable that he didn’t break and tare multiple things. Like I said last night his arm must be made of 85 percent rubber.

I do not under any circumstances want to see him back on the field this year

#2 is all you needed to say

He had no business being in there

Should have been yanked after the 3rd quarter

I'd understand keeping him in if the outcome was undetermined as, yes, he needs playing time. But at that point you are risking your #1 player for no benefit.

But definitely agree on the QB runs, and even DQ said it was a handoff or throw play, it wasn't set up for him to run. If its a designed run, i.e. he has blockers, or a broken pass play it's one thing, but that was neither. He himself has to be play smarter too...

I thought about that too, but then also thought about the Broncos scoring 33 points in the 4th quarter to win the other week. Of course, that was against the Giants, and Nix wasn't getting pressured on 60% of the offensive snaps.

I know the Seattle D is formidable and underrated, but that was our starting OL out there. WTF? Was it scheme or were they just that much better? It seemed like a bit of both, as they brought pressure from the S, LB, and even CB positions. They can't have Bill blocking -- it's just not what he's built for. CRod and McNichols would likely do better in that role, and certainly Bates will, although I didn't notice him being used as a pass blocker all that much.
