Favorite memory of 2005 season?
I was exstatic when Moss burnt Williams an the long ball. then he did it again for the game winner. Ill always remember that . damn we had a great run. WOW.
Dallas Cowboys our bitches:spank: |
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
The second TD to Moss in the Dallas game, BY FAR. I was running around the house screaming like a maniac. Just ask my girlfriend, she was there! (poor thing)

Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
Yeah, actually watching the first Dallas game to the end (more because I enjoy suffering than because I thought they would come back) was one of the high points of my life...not just this season. That is when I - and I think the Redskins themselves - really started to think this season would be different than last. Being at FedEx when the stands started shaking during the second Dallas game was also pretty freaking wonderful.

Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
Both TD's to Moss. Never forget feeling like we hadn't done anything all game.
And ofcourse my second favorite being at the home Dallas game!!! |

I was too. My wife thought I was nuts. |
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
Chris Farley: you remember that time you caught that 4th down pass against Dallas for a td then you came back on the next series and caught a 70 yrd pass for a td and won the game?
Santana Moss: yeah,I remember Chris Farley: man, that was cool |
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
This is easy...beating dallas twice! If we go 2-14 and our two wins are against dallas, it's equal to an 8-8 season!
|
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
My favorite memory of 2005 has to be against Dallas in Dallas. Santana Moss introduced himself to the NFC East and boy what a record breaking season he had.

Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
the dumping of the gatorde on coach gibbs after beating dallas in dallas.its hard to believe how much a difference a great hall of fame coach makes
|
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
The 1st Dallas game for sure.. Getting the sweep in such convincing fashion was nice as well.. Selfishly speaking, being able to go to Tampa and see them come away with a playoff win was unforgettable.

Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
I would have said the Dallas sweep but painting STU's head like a helmet yesterday was the icing on the cake for me.
lol |
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
definitely first dallas game
|
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
Any Sean Taylor hit and LaVar's INT
|
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
For me the two best memories were the beating we gave Dallas at FedEx for the sweep (because I was there, with a friend who's a Dallas fan, WHOO!) and secondly, the hurting we put on the Giants at home. That game was so awesome because everyone had written us off and the Giants were supposed to have a cakewalk through the NFC playoffs, but we showed everyone that they could be abused.

Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
No doubt, the Dallas TDs... But this 6 game run has been spectacular. It restored Redskin pride, answered the critics (though some can't help but pile on now--what BS), and gave us something to scream about, worry about, and cheer about in December and January. After so many years, man it feels good.

Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
The lasting memory for this season for me will be explaining to my 4 year old son this morning that we weren't going to be playing anymore this year. He was so sad, and I explained to him that no one thought we would do as well as we had done, and we have a great next year to look forward to. I told him that Joe Gibbs had made the Redskins great again, and we should be nothing but happy with this season.
You know what? Just saying that made it better for me, too. I really am a friggin genius. |
Re: favorite memory of 2005 season?
And a good dad--bringing up the next generation of skins fans right!
|
Re: Favorite memory of 2005 season?
dallas and giants games, two arse stompings within the division in a row.

Man nothing as sweet as that! Or that... Thanks Redskins and Coach Gibbs, Williams, etc!!! GO REDSKINS!!! :point: :point: :point: :point: :point: |
Re: Favorite memory of 2005 season?
Two wins over Dallas, big win at FedEx over G men.
|
Re: Favorite memory of 2005 season?
Second win over Dallas. Everybody said the first was a fluke! the second win drove a stake through the "dark ones" heart and closed a lot of mouths
|
Re: Favorite memory of 2005 season?
It has to be the 2nd Moss TD catch to win the first game. The 1st score was nice but the way we had played prior to that TD I realy thought it was luck and Dallas was going to win. Then BAM we hit another TD and I went crazy. You could not have drawn that up any better because Dallas and all their fans knew they were going to win that game. I still get a smile on my face thinking about all the Dallas fans leaving the stadium and hearing this going down. All the smack talking in bars Dallas fans were talking before this went down and all those fans who went to bed and woke up to hear who won. I've realy just enjoyed the whole season the good, bad and the last six wins.
