Coles Back As A Redskin?
 

With the hiring of Eric Mangini, the Jets are sure to rebuild the team on both sides of the ball. So, keeping that in mind, do you think Coles will be let go and can we get him back as a #2? I myself never hated Coles, I thought he was a solid #2 WR but could never handle the stress of the #1 spot.

I highly doubt it. With the way he left, and all the crap he said theres no way Gibbs would allow him to come back. On top of that, I doubt he'd want to come back.

Dude that bridge is beyond burned. I think Danny nuked it when he told Coles he would send him a plasma to watch the games next season since he'd make sure he was sitting at home on his couch. Gibbs, as well, is never going to take back a guy who quit on him like that.

Never. I doubt Coles would ever want to come back here. After the way he left, i imagine this is the last place he would go. I like Coles as a player, but i don't think gibbs would take him back and i don't think he would want to come back.

Man there's no way I can beleive you even posted this. There's no way Coles will "EVER" wear the burgandy & gold again. Don't you remember all the commotion he caused before he left? He said he didn't want to be here, what makes you think he'd want to come back, or that we would even consider having him back here?

he WAS a true #1 1300yardseason receiver, and then he got hurt... and then he refused surgery... and then he had a bad season cause he's not the speed freak he used to be and 50/50 lent him some of his magic touch... and then he started whining.

Jets fans were soo happy to have him back and just ignored us when we warned them that we were returning damaged goods (9 toes and 8 fingers) and that he really wasn't that great anymore.

never gonna happen. once gibbs gets trashed by a player inthe press (smoot, coles, gardner) after the player has left, you can best bet that player won't be donning a redskin uni the rest of his career
