that seems like very bad news to me,I had already heard a rumor the cowboys were trying to get the saints pick to take Vince Young,so if the saints have signed Bree's they wont need that pick for a qb and that scares the shit out of me,if the cowboys get Young I will be sick, pissed off, depressed, etc, etc

Vince Young would be a perfect fit in Dallas and an instant fan favorite: A 6 on the Wunderlic (okay, he got a 16 second time). Now that is a player the Cowboys can market to its fans.

Let the Boys take him. Wait till this idiot has to face a Greg Williams Defense with blitzs coming from all angles, we would crush Young. The rumor on Young is that after 1 or 2 reads, he pulls it down and runs. It ain't working for Vick, and it won't work for Young either.

they said it was 6 years 60 million dollars as the deal. soemthing likea 10 mil signing bonus. does this mean that they arent drafting leinhard/young?

I disagree,I live in tx and my father in law is a huge longhorn fan so I've been keeping up with him and watching his games, the guy shakes tackles like mosquitoes, and his coaches applaud his descision making skills,if the cowboys get him it would really be bad news for us

I think Clayton said something yesterday about the Saints wanting to draft Mario Williams

Re: Brees to Saints

With Brees aboard there's no way the Saints take a QB now.

6 years, $60M, that's not a short term solution.

AA or ST will kill him sometime when he is out in the open field. Someone needs to take over the career ending tackles now that LaVar is gone.

i'm not worried about vince young with our D

If the "Boys" somehow were to end up with Young, it would be an "Interception Feast" waiting to happen. I honestly don't think he is bright enough to be an NFL QB. Good move by the Saints to get a proven QB thru Free Agency. I like Brees and wish him well in N.O. Now will someone take Ramsey already!

He has not shown that he can read a defense and check down to his 2nd and 3rd receivers. He may be a beast when he pulls down and runs with the ball in college, but the NFL ain't college and he'll get jacked up and injured real quick.

hope that young become another quincy carter is not a concern for us if dallas draft him

Re: Brees to Saints

Thats not good. That mean that the Jets wont want Ramsey due to probably going to get Leinhart.

Edit: Maybe Tennesse will take Leinhart. Lets hope.

Tennessee will absolutely take Leinhart if he is available. Don't forget his old USC coach Norm Chow is the offensive coordinator there...

True. And the Titans made some moves today with Givens and Mawae to strengthen their offense. I wonder when Volek will get his shot though

Re: Brees to Saints

The Saints are still taking Leinart.
The Brees contract is realistically a one year deal.
There's a $12Mil roster bonus due this time next year.

they're shopping the pick. the option bonus is in case brees really is hurt beyond repair, to protect the team. Its too much money to have a 10mill QB/year and a 6mill/year QB on your roster at the same time. word is they want M williams now.
