Any Food Network fans?
It's ok to admit it, who else watches the Food Network?
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I've been keeping this to myself for a LOOONG time now. My fiancee got me into this channel about a year ago and before we moved into the new house, I would watch the shit out of that station.
Giada is hot. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Love it. Emeril is the shit, even though he can be annoying, dudes got some skills.
They're some other shows that I catch as well, I just forgot the names. Last summer they had a great series on how to BBQ the right way (charcoal, not gas). Tell you what though, after watching that shit you get so freaking hungry. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
It's like porn.
Yeah, I learned a lot about how to grill the right way from Bobby Flay. I'm such a woman. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I will tell you that I want to smash Rachel Ray's face into her cutting board. Her voice irritates the holy hell out of me.

She is mad annoying... what makes it worse though is she is from my area, so she's on billboards, commericals for local grocery stores, etc. You can't get away from here where I live! |

Chop and drop baby, chop and drop. Redskins_P, I know, I mean his name even RHYMES with gay. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Good to see some fellow FN fans.
When we went to Vegas last year we ate at Emeril's Delmonico steakhouse in the Venetian, and Bobby Flay's Mesa Grill in Caesar's. Emeril's was the best meal I've ever had, hands down. Bobby's was a very close 2nd. Both dinners set us back about $300 total for each, but it was well worth it. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
There was this girl who'd be at the gym in our apartment building every time when I went down to work out and she'd be watching the Food Network.
It would drive me insane. How can I be expected to get in shape when every night while running on the treadmill I'm learning how to make rasberry chocolate souffle or roast duck, etc. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?

Redskins_P, I know, I mean his name even RHYMES with gay.
twice around the pan with EVOO, toss it in the garbage bowl... UGH |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
i think matty and tmc have man-boobs:)

Re: Any Food Network fans?
I'm a big fan of Food Network. If you like Giada, "Behind the Bash" is awesome; it has added excitement with connections to stars big parties. Besides liking all her shows, I also enjoy "Iron Chef" new and old.... Pretty exotic food. Alton gives good food "technical" insights and history...........
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
betuat ,welcome aboard!
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I like the Grillin with Bobby Flay...you can learn some really good tips from him on how to properly grill good stuff.
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Gotta watch Iron Chef
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Alton Brown is the man!
|

I don't look at Giada's shows for the content... Anybody notice how her shirts just get lower and lower? |

I want to pump *clap* YOU up. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Ditto.... Dessert to the eyes yum.
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Anyone else think Sandra Lee has a MILF vibe?
On the whole FOOD side of the programming, I have to give it credit for giving guys a decent amount of cooking skills. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
twice around the pan with EVOO, toss it in the garbage bowl...
UGH
EVOO. And you know what else REALLY pisses me off, EVERY GODDAMN TIME she talks about cumin, she's like "It's really smoky, blah blah blah." Well no shit Rachel, because you don't say it EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU USE IT. Some of the things she makes are straight nasty. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I won't deny it though.
Rachel Ray. Sandra Lee. Giada De Laurentis Paula Dean I mean, no. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Yeah, the lil italian chick is a hottie for sure.
I like all the BBQ competition stuff too. In fact May 13th I'm a contestant in the Virginia National Backyard Barbecue Contest in Richmond. Wish me luck and look for me on foodtv soon! |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I like watching Unwrapped and The Secret Life Of. It's fun to see those types of shows and learn about the history of the diner for example. Plus the guy from Double Dare hosts Unwrapped, how cool is that?
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Marc Summers!
Did you see when they "unwrapped" Unwrapped. He really comes off like an asshole. He was probably like, I DID DOUBLE DARE, I'M RICH BITCH! |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I love Giada Delaurentis!!!
She has a nice rack! and Rachel Ray... She is annoying, but I would still bang her like a drum |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I also love certain shows, but I rarely watch them. Unwrapped is really interesting, Bobby Flay is fucking amazing, and there's some other show... these dudes had to make these huge sculptures (6 feet min) out of sugar.. Then they had to cary the damn things through an obstacle course. They were graded on a ton of different stuff. Very entertaining!

Re: Any Food Network fans?
Those Rachey Ray pics are fake I hope you know. ;)
I searched for those too and you can see the "seam" where it's joined. |
It's ok to admit it, who else watches the Food Network?
I'll be honest, i despise the Food Network. 24 hours a day shows about cooking some rich fancy shit? No thanks. Unfortunately, my dad and sister watch it all the time. That partly contributes to it as well. I liked that one show about the pizza cookoff though. Unfortunately most of the pizzas were made with shit that i would never put on a pizza. |

I searched for those too and you can see the "seam" where it's joined.
They arent fake. Airbrushed, yes. but not fake. she posed in FHM in 2003 http://www.torontopics.com/digital/ray.html |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I stand corrected. I had seen those before and they looked totally fake. I guess they are so airbrushed they looked fake.
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
My wife constantly has Food Network on...so you can't help but watch. My wife's a big Paula Deen fan.
Giada is certainly hot. I want to see Sandra Lee thrown into a wood chipper, just after Rachael Ray. They are both annoying as hell to me. Bobby Flay is decent on the BBQ, but if you want to really learn proper BBQ mechanics, have to flip over to PBS and watch Barbeque U with Steven Raichlen. Emeril has his moments, and I do enjoy Alton and his techniques on showing you how and why to do things. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Alton seems to make things really hard to do though.
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Barbeque U with Steven Raichlen.
Yep! |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
I believe the Rachel Ray FHM pics are at best disputed. There are numerous accounts of them being in FHM's April Fools issue. I'll eat abug if they are real. They don't just look fake they look bad fake.
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Not only that, Rachel looks WAY thicker than those pics show.
|
Re: Any Food Network fans?
omg, They are not fake!!!
and it was the october issue of 2003... she is alot thicker now http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachael_Ray read the Media Section. |
Re: Any Food Network fans?
Honestly, I'm on the fence now, BUT Wikipedia is by no means the end all on definitions.
