NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
D.Henson - 17/28 for 187 yards (longest pass - 23yds), 2 TDs (1 int) 89.4 rating
G.Hamdan 15/22 for 244 yards (longest pass - 42yds), 3 TDs (0 ints)144.7 rating Stats for the year thus far (5 weeks):
Player Att Comp % Comp Yds Avg TD % TD Lg Int % Int Sk/Lost Rating G.Hamdan, Ams (SEA) 106 63 59.4 1,104 10.42 10 9.4 65t 3 2.8 5/29 114.7 D.Henson, Rhe (DAL) 114 68 59.6 773 6.78 6 5.3 49 2 1.8 5/28 90.3
7th round ex-skin (seahawk) and 3rd round ex-texan (cowboy). Henon i the 2nd best, but Hamdan is running away with it. He does have the leading WR on his team (way above the #2 in the league stat wise), but its hard to tell who's making the other look good. |

Good point. Let me know when Hamden burns a secondary with one tenth the talent as ours. |
Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
um..., whats the point ?
|
Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
In their defence, they dont have 1/10th the talent on offence that we have.
The league is a good building block for them. Defences run NFL style schemes and players get to compete while not being overwhelmed. |

I watched Hamdan throw for 4 TDs and run for 1 last week. Say whatever you want, but you can catch alot of fish trolling. |
Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
Henson's mechanics are awful, statistics notwithstanding. He seems to be addicted to throwing off his back foot. When you step in to the throw and deliver properly you are much more likely to get drilled which was one GOOD thing about Ramsey--he was tough. Henson's bad habits are the result of his basic softness. He's avoiding the hit.
Eli Manning suffers from the same affliction and in both cases they seem immune to coaching. Eli got worse as last season wore on. This is why I'm not nearly as worried about the Giants as others here seem to be. Eli's problems which were so manifest against the Panthers and against us the second time are not the kind that are necessarily overcome by experience. They are deeply rooted and it will take a great deal of effort for him to change. I'm not saying it WON'T happen but it's not an automatic. |

I believe his point was that there isn't much defense in that league. |
Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
I don't know - I would say that there are some solid Quarterbacks to come out of the European and Arena league. Kurt Warner comes to mind -
Obviously, we're not talking about the cream of the crop but it is nice to see a former Redskins finding some success, even if it is in a developmental league. Hopefully he will catch on somewhere. |

jake delhomme, dante hall, adam vinetari... there are others. |

Hall and vinitieri aren't QB's but Delhomme is legit. I think the moral of the story is that the chance of this guy ever completing a pass in a real game are miniscule. |
Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
just saying, sometimes pro bowl of HoF players emerge from the woodwork, and the experience can't make them worse (barring injury). Hamdan's is showing that he belongs, if only as a career backup, and he's getting a lot more minutes than tim hasslebeck or most other 3rd stringers will get.

Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
they had a game on at the gym and i happened to catch that hamdan had passed Kurt Warner to become the third all-time leading passer in the history of the league.

Re: NFLe QBs Henson/Hamdan tearing it up
Trolling is basically trying to provoke some argument or start some drama up in here for no other reason than to get attention

In Internet terminology, a troll is someone who comes into an established community such as an online discussion forum, and posts inflammatory, rude or offensive messages designed to annoy and antagonize the existing members or disrupt the flow of discussion. I just didnt think there was a big NFL-E following here. This is the first thread that I have noticed about NFL-E. I do in fact catch a few games, but don't really care much about the outcome, or the stats involved in said outcome. In the future I will avoid this thread. |
